World Assembly, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 76\u00a0\u00a0after a heart attack.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">\u064eAyatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri was also the chairman of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and an advisor to the Supreme Leader on Islamic world affairs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ayatollah Tsakhiri was born in Najaf and his father was from Tonekabon, one of the western cities of Mazandaran province.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">He established the Islamic Culture and Relation Organization in 1995.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ayatollah Taskhiri was one of the founders of the Ahlulbayt (a.s.) World Assembly and was the Secretary General of the Assembly from 1990 to 1999. <\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">In 2012 he was appointed by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution as his high advisor in the affairs of the Islamic world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ayatollah Taskhiri&#8217;s funeral will be held on Thursday, August 20, in Qom.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ayatollah &#8220;Mohammad Ali Taskhiri&#8221;, a member of the Supreme Council of the Ahlulbayt (a.s.)
