The president of Jamiat al-Zahra (a.s.) University, Hojat al-Islam \u201cSayed Mahmoud Madani Bajestani\u201d, received a group of members of the Academic Committee of the International Conference of \u201cHazrat Abu Talib (a.s.); the supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)\u201d.<\/p>\n

\nThe meeting, which was held on Saturday, April 20, 2019, was attended by Dr. Imani Moghadam, Dr. Motahhari, Dr. Zare Mohaghegh Khourmizi, and Mr. Jafari Farahani.<\/p>\n

\nAt the beginning of the meeting, congratulating Sha\u2019banya Eves, the chairman of the Deputy of Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Hojat al-Islam Dr. Imani Moghadam, introduced the Conference and its goals, academic committee, academic branches, and commissions.<\/p>\n

\nReferring to the four commissions of \u201cHistory and Life\u201d, \u201cTheology and Beliefs\u201d, \u201cPoetry and Literature\u201d and \u201cAuthors\u201d, he reports on reviewing the proposed books, calling the articles, holding meetings, and launching a special website for the conference.<\/p>\n

Presenting a report on the meetings of the Academic Council and the organizers of the conference with the sources of the emulation Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani, Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani, Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani, and Messrs. Ayatollah Araki and Hojat al-Islam Shahrestani (representative of Ayatollah Sistani), he narrates their positive comments on the conference.<\/p>\n

\nFollowing in the meeting, Hojat al-Islam \u201cAbbas Jafari Farahani, the secretary of the conference, described the activities carried out and ongoing by the secretariat and presented a report on the cooperation of various organizations, including Jamiat al-Zahra (a.s.) University, Al-Mustafa International University (p.b.u.h), etc. with the conference.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cTheses and articles submitted to the conference are under review. But since the opportunity to submit articles is October 22, 2019, we are waiting for more articles from researchers\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cWorks and books are also about to be published, which number up to 20 titles so far. Meetings are also planned to be held in different cities such as the holy city of Mashhad and some other cities and regions. A meeting was also held in cooperation with Ms. Dr. Haqqani and Ms. Salehi in Jamiat al-Zahra (a.s.) University\u201d, continued Jafari Farahani.<\/p>\n

\nThen, congratulating the Eids and appreciating the officials of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly who have participated in the Jamiat al-Zahra (a.s.) University in holding the International conference of Abu Talib (a.s.), the chair of the Research of the University, Ms. Dr. Reyhaneh Haqqani reported on the activities of the Jamiat al-Zahra (a.s.) University Research Institute, in the field of Academic call of the conference.<\/p>\n

\nShe also explained about holding a pre-meeting for the choosing topics with some members of the Conference Academic Committee, organizing a thematic workshop for writing articles, series of essay writing skills sessions, and creating history and theology working groups and directing the writing of articles to the conference.<\/p>\n

Then in the meeting, pointing to the importance of the efforts of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) in defending the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), the president of Jamiat al-Zahra (a.s.) University, Hojat al-Islam Madani Bajestani appreciated the actions taken by the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) World Assembly and cooperation and participation of other organizations.<\/p>\n

\nHe also described Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) as the role model of brotherhood and approximation of the Islamic World, and emphasizing the importance of attracting more audiences said, \u201cDue to the international nature of this conference, the international affairs of the institutions should be consulted and researchers across borders should be benefited.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nHe, who was the representative of the Supreme Leader in the UAE for many years, also shared a memory about supporting the publication of an important book by an Egyptian author about the faith of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) and said, \u201cAfter the publishing the book, I sent a copy to the Supreme Leader, who welcomed the book and encouraged it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nReferring to the death sentence handed down (by the Saudi regime) against Sheikh \u201cAbdullah Khonizi Qatifi\u201d, the author of the book \u201cAbu Talib (a.s.), Mo’men Quraysh\u201d (Abu Talib the Believer of the Quraysh), Madani Bajestani also suggested, \u201cIt is appropriate that the republishing the book be on the agenda of the conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), and if possible, the author should be invited to participate in the conference.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAddressing the people who were present in the meeting, he also narrated the story of honoring one of the scholars of South Khorasan to meet Imam Hassan Askari (a.s.) and Imam Mahdi (a.s.) and those nobles\u2019 advice and order to him to pilgrimage the Hajj and appeal to Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) to be healed from cancer.<\/p>\n

\nAt the end of the meeting, the President of Jamiat Al-Zahra University advised the chair of the Research of the Seminarian University to invite the students of the International Department and other scholars related to Al-Zahra University to participate in the Academic cooperation with the conference.<\/p>\n

\nIt should be mentioned that by the initiation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and support and cooperation of the similar institutions, including, \u201cImam Hossein (a.s.) Holy Shrine\u201d, \u201cHazrat Aboutaleb Research and Publishing Institute\u201d, \u201cThe World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought\u201d, \u201cIslamic Sciences and Culture Academy of Islamic Propagation Office\u201d, \u201cAl-Mustafa International University\u201d, \u201cHawza Language teaching center\u201d, \u201cInternational University of AhlulBayt (a.s.)\u201d, \u201cMirath-e Nabowat Cultural Institute\u201d, \u201cJamiat al-Zahra Seminary University\u201d, \u201cZorria al-Nabawia Research Center\u201d, \u201cQasem ibn al-Hassan (a.s.) Religious-Cultural Institute\u201d, and \u201cAbna al-Rasoul Cultural and Artistic Institute\u201d; international conference \u201cHazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)\u201d will be held on Rajab 25, 26 and 27, 1442 (March 9, 10 and 11, 2021) on the anniversary of the death of Abu Talib (a.s.).<\/p>\n

\nThe deadline for submitting academic works and articles to this conference has been extended until February 18, 2021.<\/p>\n
