World Assembly passed away.<\/p>\n<p>Ammar Luigi De Martino, the senior Italian shiite passed away on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>He was the founder of the first Shiite Center called &#8220;Islamic Association of AhlulBayt (a.s.)&#8221; in Naples and he was the founder of the journal &#8220;Pure Islam&#8221; in Italian.<\/p>\n<p>During his more than thirty years of scientific, cultural and propaganda work, the late scholar played an important role in the growth of Shiite Islam among the natives of Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Ammar de Martino also played a decisive role as the Italian member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.)
