{"id":311901,"date":"2020-11-28T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-11-27T20:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ahlulbaytworldassembly.org\/%d8%a7%d8%ae%d8%a8%d8%a7%d8%b1\/al-mustafa-university-chief-offers-condolences-on-demise-of-indian-scholar\/"},"modified":"2026-07-04T10:26:33","modified_gmt":"2026-07-04T06:56:33","slug":"al-mustafa-university-chief-offers-condolences-on-demise-of-indian-scholar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ahlulbaytworldassembly.org\/en\/news\/al-mustafa-university-chief-offers-condolences-on-demise-of-indian-scholar\/","title":{"rendered":"Al-Mustafa University chief offers condolences on demise of Indian scholar"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>President of Al-Mustafa International University Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Abbasi expressed condolences on the death of senior Indian Shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Sadiq.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">In a message released on Thursday, Hojat-ol-Islam Abbasi said Dr. Kalbe Sadiq was a hard-working personality who spent his noble life in serving the followers of Ahl-ul-Byat (AS), promoting the Divine teachings and enhancing Islamic unity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">He said Dr. Kalbe Sadiq played a major role in boosting brotherly ties among followers of different Islamic schools of thought in India.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Hojat-ol-Islam Abbasi offered condolences on the death of the scholar to his family and children and the Islamic seminaries of India.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Maulana Kalbe Sadiq was the vice president of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">He was an educationist, Islamic scholar and ambassador of communal amity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">He was born into a Shia family in Lucknow in 1939.
