According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>A group of the organizers of the \u201cInternational Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.); Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)\u201d met and talked to the representative of Grand Ayatollah Hakim in Qom.<\/p>\n

\nIn the meeting, appreciating the holding of the international conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Hojat al-Islam Sayed Riyad Hakim said, \u201cThis conference is very important because he is one of the great figures of Islam who is unjustly oppressed and unknown.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAccording to Hawzah News, the teacher of at the Islamic Seminary of Qom stated, \u201cIn addition to the faith of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), even his human activities before and after Islam have been ignored, and this is a double injustice against this noble man.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\u201cKnowing his personality requires academic and research efforts. To achieve this, it is appropriate for conference organizers, in collaboration with universities, to encourage students to submit dissertations related to Abu Talib\u2019s personality and life\u201d, Hakim added.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cWhat is important in the conference is to benefit from the works of Sunnis and especially non-Muslim thinkers. Because when a non-Muslim scholar writes in praise of Abu Talib (a.s.), Shiite thinkers are also motivated and encouraged to do so\u201d, he stated.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cAcademic work has its own audience,\u201d he said, stressing the need for public works, and added, \u201cIn order to remove the oppression of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), it is necessary to introduce different aspects of his personality to ordinary people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAs an example of public works, the representative of the Grand Ayatollah Hakim said, \u201cTo introduce him to the people, one of the things that can be done is to name some streets and squares after him. This requires consultation with municipalities and in-charge institutions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAt the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Secretary General and Deputy of Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Hujat al-Islam Ahmadi Tabar, and some other organizers of the International Conference \u201cHazrat Abu Talib (a.s.); Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)\u201d, provided a report on academic and executive proceedings of the conference.<\/p>\n

\nIt should be mentioned that by the initiation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and support and cooperation of the similar institutions, including, \u201cImam Hossein (a.s.) Holy Shrine\u201d, \u201cHazrat Aboutaleb Research and Publishing Institute\u201d, \u201cThe World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought\u201d, \u201cIslamic Sciences and Culture Academy of Islamic Propagation Office\u201d, \u201cAl-Mustafa International University\u201d, \u201cHawza Language teaching center\u201d, \u201cInternational University of AhlulBayt (a.s.)\u201d, \u201cMirath-e Nabowat Cultural Institute\u201d, \u201cJamiat al-Zahra Seminary University\u201d, \u201cZorria al-Nabawia Research Center\u201d, \u201cQasem ibn al-Hassan (a.s.) Religious-Cultural Institute\u201d, and \u201cAbna al-Rasoul Cultural and Artistic Institute\u201d; international conference \u201cHazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)\u201d will be held on Rajab 25, 26 and 27, 1442 (Mrch 9, 10 and 11, 2021) on the anniversary of the death of Abu Talib (a.s.).<\/p>\n

\nThe deadline for submitting academic works and articles to this conference has been extended until February 18, 2021.<\/p>\n
