According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>\u201cThere are different historical narrations about this great figure. It is clear what is the reason for the disagreement about the character of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.). But history shows what a great role Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) played in inviting people to Islam and Tawhid and what a great work he did in this regard,\u201d stated the representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Syria and Lebanon, referring to the character of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.).<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThe support of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) for the Prophet (p.b.u.h) shows the love of this noble man for Tawhid and his dependence on Islam and the worship of God Almighty,\u201d added Hojat al-Islam Sayed Hassan Mousavi Tabrizi on the occasion of the \u201cInternational Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.); the Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)\u201d which is being held by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\nIn an exclusive interview with ABNA correspondent, considering Hazrat Abd al-Muttalib (a.s.) as a Mowahed (monotheistic), God-fearing and believing man, he stated, \u201cHazrat Abd al-Muttalib (a.s.), the father of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) and the grandfather of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), at the time of his death, although had 10 sons, took only the hand of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) and made a will for him to be like a father for the Muhammad, who was only eight years old at the time. The reason for this choice of Hazrat Abd al-Muttalib (a.s.) was the faith and Tawhid of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.).\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIn this conference, the personality of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) should be discussed before and after the birth of the Prophet (p.b.u.h), and his position among the Quraysh tribe and the people of Mecca. It is also important that talking about the character of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) should not be limited to discussion about his believe in Islam,\u201d stated Hojat al-Islam Mousavi Tabrizi, referring to the \u201cInternational Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.); Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)\u201d.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cHazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) was a great scholar. He was considered a great poet, which is a privilege for a character among the Arabs. But so far not much work has been done in the field of rhetoric and knowledge of Hazrat Aboutaleb (a.s.). He was a rhetorician who had strong ties to the tribes of Mecca and kings, even the king of Rome. Abu Talib (a.s.) was an international figure who had a special place among scholars,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

The representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Lebanon added, \u201cOne of the dimensions of the personality of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) was his knowledge and mysticism. The poems left by Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) are full of mysticism. He addressed the following poems to the Prophet (p.b.u.h):<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThese verses show that Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) also knew about the previous religions,\u201d Mousavi Tabrizi emphasized.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThe Prophet (p.b.u.h) was present at the funeral and burial ceremony of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) and cried a lot during this ceremony. In such a way that the Quraysh heard the cry of the Prophet (p.b.u.h). The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) called the year of the demise of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) as the Aam al-Hozn, meaning a year of sorrow and grief, which has a great meaning. We must pay attention to the dimensions of the personality of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) and introduce this figure to the whole world,\u201d he mentioned.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cOf course, one important point to note in holding this conference is that the Supreme Leader and the grand sources of emulation have a lot of emphasis on religious issues and the need to create unity among Muslims (Shiites and Sunnis). Therefore, studying the personality of Hazrat Abu Talib (AS) should not be a means of opposing others and a ground for creating separation among Muslims. Even the infidels of Quraysh, who were bad and stubborn people, showed respect and humility to Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) and respected this noble man,\u201d the Islamic thinker concluded in the end.<\/p>\n

\nIt should be mentioned that by the initiation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and support and cooperation of the similar institutions, including, \u201cImam Hossein (a.s.) Holy Shrine\u201d, \u201cHazrat Aboutaleb Research and Publishing Institute\u201d, \u201cThe World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought\u201d, \u201cIslamic Sciences and Culture Academy of Islamic Propagation Office\u201d, \u201cAl-Mustafa International University\u201d, \u201cHawza Language teaching center\u201d, \u201cInternational University of AhlulBayt (a.s.)\u201d, \u201cMirath-e Nabowat Cultural Institute\u201d, \u201cJamiat al-Zahra Seminary University\u201d, \u201cZorria al-Nabawia Research Center\u201d, \u201cQasem ibn al-Hassan (a.s.) Religious-Cultural Institute\u201d, and \u201cAbna al-Rasoul Cultural and Artistic Institute\u201d; international conference \u201cHazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)\u201d will be held on Rajab 25, 26 and 27, 1442 (March 9, 10 and 11, 2021) on the anniversary of the death of Abu Talib (a.s.).<\/p>\n

\nThe deadline for submitting academic works and articles to this conference has been extended until February 18, 2021.<\/p>\n
