According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>The closing ceremony of the first \u201cWorld Prize 114\u201d was held in the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom, in full compliance with health protocols due to Covid-19.<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Mohammad Saeed Al-No\u2019mani from Iraq was one of the two ever-lasting figures of the first course of this international event, who was honored along with the late Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri from Iran for the valuable book \u201cAl-Mukhtasar Al-Mufid Fi Tafsir Al-Quran Al-Majid\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to the hadith of Saqaleen from the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), the Quran and Itrat (family of the prophet) are the two basic elements of Islam that are the cause of the unity of the Islamic Ummah. But some wanted to separate the two pillars,\u201d Ayatollah Al-No\u2019mani stated in a short speech at the ceremony, referring to the Hadith of Thaqalayn.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome slandered the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school that they are far from the Quran and that they had no acquaintance with this divine book. They even claimed that the Shiites have another Quran! This was a great conspiracy to divide the Islamic Ummah,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly should be appreciated for its Quranic activities which have played a major role in refuting the accusations against the Shiites in the field of the Quran,\u201d added the head of the Islamic Thought Association.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor more than five decades, I had the honor of befriending the late Ayatollah Taskhiri from the seminary of Najaf,\u201d al-No\u2019mani said. \u201cAt the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, when we were with him in the Islamic Development Organization, we published many copies of the Holy Quran in the script of \u201cOsman Taha\u201d by the Organization in the name of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and they were presented in book fairs in different countries. With this action, we responded to the slanders against the Shiites.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe seminary of Qom, next to the seminary of Najaf, are two wings for the Shiite world, and these seminaries promote the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.),\u201d said the honored figure of the first \u201cWorld Prize 114\u201d, referring to the role of seminaries in promoting the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe book \u201cAl-Mukhtasar Al-Mufid Fi Tafsir Al-Quran Al-Majid\u201d is a memento of our teacher, the Grand Ayatollah \u201cSayed Mohammad Baqer Sadr\u201d, who suggested writing this Tafsir to the late Ayatollah Taskhiri,\u201d Al-No\u2019mani continued.<\/p>\n
