According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>On the occasion of the 7th<\/sup> day of the demise of the divine scholar and pious professor, Hojat al-Islam Haj Sheikh Mahdi Pishvaee, a virtual commemoration ceremony was held with speeches by scholars and professors of the seminary.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was held on Monday evening, August 23, 2021, with the participation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Arbaeen Cultural Headquarters, World Assembly of Shiite Studies, Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy, Center for Islamic Seminary Management, and Association of Seminary Historians.<\/p>\n

Late Pishvaee’s books were among textbooks: Arafi<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the beginning of the meeting, referring to the characteristics of the late Pishvaee, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the head of the seminaries, stated, \u201cHe had a media personality, and since the founding of \u201cMaktab-e-Islam\u201d magazine, he wrote for that. He had more than 200 articles in magazines. He was one of the top experts in Radio Ma\u2019aref.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe late Pishvaee had an eloquent tone in his writings and some of his books are among the textbooks that show the power of his pen. The late Pishvaee generated important resources in the field of history,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The works of the late Pishvaee are influential nationally and internationally<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saying that the late Professor Pishvaee was a pious, moral, patient, and kind person, Hojat al-Islam Mahmoud Rajabi, president of the Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute, as another speaker at the meeting, stated, \u201cThose who came to him were greeted beautifully. He answered questions calmly and expressed his precise opinions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHis works were welcomed by academics and seminarians and were introduced as a textbook in both the seminary and the university. These works were written in a way that has been welcomed internationally, and have been translated and published in various languages,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

The late Pishvaee was an expert in the history of Islam<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hojat al-Islam Ali Akbar Zakeri, a faculty member of the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy, as one of the speakers at the commemoration of the late Pishvaee, said, \u201cThe late Pishvaee was one of the figures who specialized in the history of Islam and wrote several books in this field. His most famous book in this field is \u201cSire-ye Pishvayan\u201d (The Life of Leaders). \u201cMaqtal Jame-e Sayed al-Shohada\u201d (The comprehensive description of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein), in two volumes, was another valuable work of the late Pishvaee, written by him in collaboration with a group of historians.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the book \u201cMaqtal Jame-e Sayed al-Shohada\u201d, the late Pishvaee researched the Ashura event from beginning to end, along with the issues surrounding it\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Professor Pishvaee was one of the pioneers of Islamic history in the seminary of Qom<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hojat al-Islam Motahari, the head of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) History and Life Research Institute, stated, Professor Mahdi Pishvaee was one of the pioneers of the Islamic history in the seminary of Qom, and through him, many scholars and clerics became acquainted with the history of Islam.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cProfessor Pishvaee was a unique figure in the seminary of Qom who performed very valuable services in history field of study,\u201d he mentioned.<\/p>\n

\u201cSire-ye Pishvayan\u201d by late Pishvaee, filled the textbook gap of seminary, university<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Reza Jabbari, professor of Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute, said in the commemoration meeting of the late Professor Pishvaee, \u201cProfessor Pishvaee was one of the leading professors in the history of Islam, with decades of research, teaching, and managing research affairs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cProfessor Pishvaee was a good writer and had an eloquent expression. Evidence of this is the book \u201cSire-ye Pishvayan\u201d (The Life of Leaders) which filled the curriculum gap in the seminary and the university in this field and became a textbook,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

The late Pishvaee was the undisputed professor of the political life of the Imams (a.s.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the final part of the commemoration ceremony for the late Pishvaee, Hojat al-Islam Najaf Lakzai, the head of the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy, said, \u201cThe late Pishvaei was an undisputed professor of Islamic history and the political life of the Imams (a.s.). The political life of the Imams (a.s.) is important for Muslims and after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, society-building based on Islam and Islamic models became the basis of all affairs. According to the Quran, the way to build a society is to follow role models.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe activities of the late Professor Pishvaee are important because he went into the history of Islam and organized important researches and studies, nurtured many students and researchers, and supervised important dissertations,\u201d he mentioned.<\/p>\n

It should be mentioned that Hojat al-Islam Mahdi Pishvaee, one of the prominent professors of the seminary of Qom, passed away on August 14, 2021. Many books on religious issues, the history of Islam, and the life of the Infallible Imams (a.s.) have been published by this researcher and professor of the seminary of Qom, who was born in 1942.<\/p>\n

Among the famous and important books of Professor Pishvaee, are \u201cSire-ye Pishvayan\u201d (The Life of Leaders) which is the textbook of Islamic seminaries, and \u201cHistory of Islam (from Jahiliyyah to the demise of the Prophet of Islam)\u201d which is the textbook of universities. He was one of the professors of Imam Sadegh (a.s.)
