According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>In the international webinar \u201cMartyr Qasem Soleimani, role model for Islamic world in fight against arrogance, extremism\u201d the Turkish political expert stated, \u201cIn the fight against ISIL, General Soleimani made many efforts and was present in Iraq, Syria and other countries.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor General Soleimani, there was no difference between different religions and denominations. He was among them, fought against ISIL and the new terrorism. ISIL had reached 35 km from Karbala, and Haj Qasem came to fight against terrorism without paying attention to his status and material wealth. It was he who persuaded Ayatollah Sistani to issue a fatwa for the Iraqi people to rise up against ISIL. He also persuaded Russian President Putin to fight ISIL, saying that if he did not fight ISIL in the Levant, the terrorist group would reach Moscow,\u201d Javad Eslami added.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo counter ISIL, Martyr Soleimani was in contact with Turkish officials, and they consulted with him. Therefore, after his martyrdom, Erdogan said, \u2018General Soleimani is the martyr of the Islamic world.\u2019 Haj Qasem was involved in the defeat of the coup in Turkey, and if the coup succeeded, Turkey would disintegrate and a second Israel would be formed in the region,\u201d he also said.<\/p>\n

\u201cQasem Soleimani was brave and well-trained, and ISIL could not conquer Iraq and Syria because of his efforts. Today we can go on pilgrimage of the holy shrines of (in Iraq and Syria) because of the courage and martyrdom of Qasem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi Al-Mohandes and other martyrs,\u201d the Turkish political expert stated, saying that General Soleimani\u2019s school was the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.).<\/p>\n

\u201cIf it were not for the commanders of the resistance, the fatwa of the mujtahid would have been ineffective. Leadership and planning of the battle is an important issue. General Soleimani taught the Mujahideen how to fight. He also taught them to pray for their spiritual advancement,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe martyrdom of Haj Qasem pleased the sworn enemies, namely the United States, Israel and the Takfiris, but it was an irreparable loss for the free people,\u201d Javad Eslami said in the end.<\/p>\n

The international webinar \u201cMartyr Qasem Soleimani, role model for Islamic world in fight against arrogance, extremism\u201d was held on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm, by the Secretariat of the World Conference \u201cCountering Extremism and Takfiriism\u201d, in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.)
