World Assembly, Sheikh Abdillahi Nasir Juma, a commemoration was held online and in person on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 19:00 Tehran time at conference Hall of AhlulBayt (a.s.).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: justify;\">At the ceremony, Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Salim, a Shiite missionary in Kenya, said, \u201cEvery time I went to East Africa as a missionary, I met Sheikh Abdillahi Nasir, and he treated me as if I were a great scholar. This eminent scholar, despite his great knowledge, respected others and listened to their words.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: justify;\">\u201cSheikh Abdillahi Nasir, although a political figure at the time, understood the sensitivities of Kenya. His propagation method was based on Shia-Suni approximation. He had good relations with Sunni scholars and participated in Sunni ceremonies,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhen we, the missionaries, asked Sheikh Abdillahi Nasir for advice as a missionary, he responded, \u2018I tell you one thing: keep missionary activities, tell people what Shia is.\u2019 Unfortunately, others have an incomplete idea of the Shia school. To address this shortcoming, Sheikh Abdillahi Nasir wrote a book entitled \u2018What is Shia?\u2019 He called on the missionaries to create a correct image of Shia for the people,\u201d the Shiite missionary in Kenya noted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Shiite missionary in Kenya said, \u201cSheikh Abdillahi Nasir\u2019s propagation method was based on Shia-Suni approximation.
