According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>In a ceremony on Thursday, February 24, 2022, in the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom, the Secretary-General of the Assembly appointed the new head of the Wiki Shia encyclopedia.<\/p>\n

In this ceremony, while presenting a report on the activities of the Wiki Shia encyclopedia, Hojat al-Islam Dr. Mehdi Farmanian, Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, \u201cThe Wiki Shia continues to operate in ten languages, and the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has tried to add two or three more languages to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the last eleven months, 1318 entries have been added to the Wiki Shia in ten languages, and in the last seven years, the Wiki Shia pages have received 517 million views,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the past two years, we have been in contact with Hojat al-Islam Hakim Elahi, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Indonesia, and Hojat al-Islam Mahdavi, the representative of the Supreme Leader in India, for the development of languages. We are also going to cooperate with the Islamic Propagation Office of the Qom Seminary and Astan Quds Razavi,\u201d continued the Deputy for the Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo far, we have sent thousands of books to other countries and domestic cultural centers. Translation of 44 volumes of the book has been another activity of the Office for the Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the Assembly. Today, the latest publications of the Assembly, including 31 volumes in 23 titles and in 10 languages, will be unveiled,\u201d he said about the activities of the Office for the Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Assembly Digital Library has been launched and a contract has been signed to add digital book files. We are also in contact with 125 cultural centers in the world, and we have recently started cooperation with 13 centers. So far, the General Directorate of Education has held 266 courses for different countries,\u201d Farmanian continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cA contract has been set up for the Assembly\u2019s 30th<\/sup> anniversary plan, and interviews will be conducted to compile the Assembly\u2019s oral history to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the Assembly\u2019s activities using the experiences of former staff. The Scientific Council has been created instead of the Book Council of the Assembly. The council will hold a meeting every week. With the presence of experts, we seek to conduct research in various fields based on the needs of the Office for International Affairs,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Ebrahim Amini has been with Wiki Shia for several years and is the Indonesian language director of the bureau.
