According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>On Saturday, March 5, 2022, on the first anniversary of Hojat al-Islam Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari, the specialized conference \u201cThe situation of Shia in the West\u201d was held.<\/p>\n

In this conference, while offering condolences on the first anniversary of the educated scholar and the great professor Hojat al-Islam Hosseini, Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, the chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, \u201cIt was a very difficult and worrying year when the evil Covid virus mourned many families and took away many of our intellectuals. One of the loved ones we lost this year was the great scholar, Hojat al-Islam Hosseini.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a clergy and servant of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the International Ashura Foundation, I have had the honor of meeting and cooperating with him for many years. His demise was very painful and sad for us, the scientific community, seminaries, scholars, Sources of Emulation, as well as for his acquaintances and enthusiasts. I feel sad by the loss of this dear brother. His demise is a great loss for everyone,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cSayed Moghtada considered it his honor to love Imam Hussain (a.s.) and to express virtues of the Imam and the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.). The surname of Sayed Moghtada was Husseini, and I hope that he will benefit from the light of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and be reunited with this Imam and his companions,\u201d said the head of the International Ashura Foundation, offering congratulations on the days of Sha\u2019ban month and the birthday of Imam Hussain (a.s.).<\/p>\n

“We were\u00a0friends for over 20 years. He came to the Iranian embassy in Syria with the late Sayed Saleh Zurriasatain, a devoted Mujahed in the war against criminal Saddam during the eight-year war imposed on Iran, and one of the defenders of the Velayat in Syria. This was my first acquaintance with Mr. Hosseini,\u201d he said, referring to the acquaintance with the late Hosseini, his sincerity and interest in promoting Islam, propagating the religion, and spreading the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe late Hosseini was a preacher and a mujahed in the way of God, and with his speeches and statements he tried to guide the believers and deepen their love for the AhlulBayt (a.s.),\u201d the chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly continued, \u201cThe nobleman not only preached Islam in Iran and his homeland, but also after the victory of the Islamic Revolution raised the banner of propagating Islam in other countries, including Germany and Switzerland.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHojat al-Islam Hosseini started his propagation in Lugano, Switzerland, and gathered the followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and Muslims around him and established the Islamic Center of Imam Ali (a.s.). After 20 years, this center has been operating as a base for guidance and propagation. The Islamic Center of Imam Ali (a.s.) is like a \u201cgood tree\u201d (a Quranic term) and a relic of Hojat al-Islam Hosseini,\u201d Ayatollah Akhtari added.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope that with the follow-up of the friends of the deceased and the honarable head of Imam Ali (a.s.) Center, Dr. Hosseini, this \u201cremnant of righteous\u201d will remain and be able to increase and disseminate the knowledge of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), moral and religious education to the youth, and also successfully spread the Islamic culture, etiquette and lifestyle among non-Muslims,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe late Hojat al-Islam Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari had very good relations with non-Muslims in Switzerland and other countries and tried to acquaint them with the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.). He defended the sanctity of the Imamate, Islam and the Quran,\u201d the head of the Ashura International Foundation said.<\/p>\n

It should be mentioned that the commemoration of late Hojat al-Islam Haj Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari, and the specialized conference \u201cThe situation of Shia in the West\u201d was held virtually by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the Imam Ali (a.s.) Center of Lugano, and the Office for the Defense of the Rights of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers in Switzerland.<\/p>\n

University of Religions and Islamic Denominations, Swiss International Association for the Religions Studies, AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency – ABNA, Foundation for Iran-Netherlands Friendship and Developing Relations, Islamic and Cultural Foundation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Geneva, Europersia University of International Interaction, Secretariat of Iranian Theologians, Coordination of Islamic Organizations in Switzerland (KIOS), Islamic Confederation of Shiites in Italy, Al-Bayan Institution for Connection and Establishing, The World Center for Shiite Studies, AhlulBayt (a.s.)
