Simultaneously with the holy month of Ramadan 2022, and on the eve of International Quds Day, the call for \u201cThe Third International Cartoon Festival of the Quds Day\u201d is announced.<\/p>\n

This festival is organized by AhlulBayt (a.s.) – ABNA News Agency in collaboration with the Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People (affiliated to the Presidency Instituting of the Islamic Republic of Iran), Center for Strategic Studies of Shahid Fazel (Iraq), Islamic Relief Center (Bahrain), Art Department of the Islamic Development Organization (Islamic Republic of Iran) and Comprehensive Website of Islamic Art.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

* Topics:<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the festival coincides with the arrogant efforts to normalize relations between the Arab and Islamic countries with the occupying regime, and due to the closeness of the Nakba day with this year\u2019s International Quds Day, the festival is held on the following three topics:<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> The betrayal of some Arab leaders in the normalization of relations with Israel<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Misery of the Nakba Day (The day of the establishment of the Israeli regime and the displacement of the Palestinian people)<\/p>\n

3<\/strong>. Shireen Abu Akleh, the daughter of Palestine<\/p>\n

\n

* Secretary:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prominent revolutionary artist and cartoonist, Sayed Massoud Shojaei Tabatabai, is the secretary of \u201cThe Third International Cartoon Festival of the Quds Day\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

* Regulations:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Each cartoonist can participate in each of the competition topics with a maximum of 3 works (6 works in total).<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> The size of the submitted cartoons must be A4 in jpg format and the resolution of 300 dpi.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Technique of the work is optional.<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> The submitted cartoons must be named in English according to the following example:<\/p>\n

Name and family name of the artist – work number – cellphone number (with country code). E.g.:<\/p>\n

(Mr. Amir Amiri from Iran, number of the cartoon: 01, cellphone number: 00989120000000<\/em>)<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> Cartoons must be emailed to the festival secretariat as the attachment file.<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> Participant must fill in the festival registration form and email it with ID photograph, along with the cartoons.<\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> The Secretariat recognizes the sender of the form as the owner of the submitted cartoon and, if proven otherwise, removes the relevant work from the competition.<\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> Cartoons should not have won any awards from another festival. If this condition is not met, the submitted work will not be entered in the contest and the possible prize will be withdrawn.<\/p>\n

9.<\/strong> Works related to both topics will be judged together.<\/p>\n

10.<\/strong> The right to use the participating works, in any way, is reserved for the secretariat of the festival.<\/p>\n

11.<\/strong> All participants will be awarded a certificate of participation in the festival.<\/p>\n

12.<\/strong> Sending cartoons means accepting the regulations of the competition.<\/p>\n

* Awards:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Winner: honorary diploma and 1500 Euros.<\/p>\n

Second prize winner: honorary diploma and 1000 Euros.<\/p>\n

Third prize winner: honorary diploma and 700 euros.<\/p>\n

The deadline for receiving cartoons to the festival secretariat is June 21, 2022.<\/p>\n
