According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>The International Conference \u201cWomen and Holy Quds\u201d was held on the evening of Tuesday, May 16, 2022, on the eve of World Quds Day, in the conference hall of the Palestine Intifada Conference.<\/p>\n

Referring to the importance of the role of ulama, Sayedeh Hoda Mousavi, daughter of the martyred Sayed Abbas Mousavi, former Secretary-General of Lebanonese Hezbollah, said at the conference, \u201cAccording to hadiths, ulama have an important role to play in defending Islamic identity. Their role is even greater than that of military defenders. Because in the sight of God, defending religion is more important than defending bodies. This highlights the importance of the presence of young people in the field of ideological defense against the cultural onslaught of enemies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIslam is spreading and the attacks of the enemies on Islam are increasing day by day. The enemies feel threatened by Islam. From the moment they realized the expansion of the Islamic Republic, global arrogance began to propagate deviant ideas through the media. For example, they introduced the hijab as a symbol of backwardness,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe target of the Western media is not only the youth. Rather, they target all sections of the Islamic world, including women and children. In return, the young Muslims felt responsible for defending Islamic values and defending the identity of the Islamic society in the path of God with all the means at their disposal. This is an important role that young people have taken on,\u201d said the daughter of the former Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary-General.<\/p>\n

Referring to the spread of Islamic civilization, Sayedeh Hoda Mousavi said, \u201cIslamic civilization is based on reason, and the youth of the Resistance relied on divine teachings. They are people of wisdom and knowledge and have qualities such as courage and insight. The Resistance thought is based on the denial of oppression and tyranny. \u2018Resistance\u2019 means confronting any arrogance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWestern thought is materialistic. While the youth of the Resistance have relied on the divine teachings in their thoughts and seek to follow the path of the divine prophets and the infallible Imams (a.s.). The arrogant system has come to the conclusion that Resistance has been a constant force since the time of the divine prophets. Accordingly, Resistance is a bird that has two wings of believing in the martyrdom, and having a religious thought and communication with religious scholars,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

It worth mentioning that the International Conference \u201cWomen and the Holy Quds\u201d is being held with the participation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and other similar institutions.
