According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>The International Conference \u201cWomen and Holy Quds\u201d was held on the evening of Tuesday, May 16, 2022, on the eve of World Quds Day, in the conference hall of the Palestine Intifada Conference.<\/p>\n

Dr. Fereshteh Rouhafza, a university professor and a member of the Socio-Cultural Council for Women and the Family of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, said at the conference, \u201cAfter nearly 74 years, no treaty has been reached at the United Nations to resolve the Palestinian question.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRecognition of Palestine has no place in international law. The illegitimacy of Israel is clear to everyone. If they want to deal with it one day according to UN documents, it can easily be proven that Israel is an occupier and cannot exist at all,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cInternational documents are beautifully written but not executed. After all these years, the United Nations has not been able to do justice,\u201d Rouhafza emphasized.<\/p>\n

\u201cUN Resolution 194 calls for the return of Palestinian refugees. Palestine is recognized as a non-member state in the United Nations,\u201d the researcher said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe book \u2018Palestinian Women Under the Boots of Israel\u2019 highlights the occupiers\u2019 most blatant insults to Palestinian women,\u201d Dr. Rouhafza stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo far, 15,000 Palestinian women have been detained by the Zionists. The Zionist regime indiscriminately arrests women, girls, and children. Since 2000, 12,000 Palestinian women have been detained and mentally tortured by the Zionists. There are horrific scenes of beatings and torture and the arrest of Palestinian women and girls,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cPalestinian women prisoners have no facilities in prisons, they see their children are martyred, they have been deprived of security for 74 years. Every day, they wait for the destruction of their houses, the war, and the sacrifice of the martyrs. With all these conditions, they stand and resist. In 2021, 357 Palestinians were martyred, with the highest number of women,\u201d Rouhafza said.<\/p>\n

It worth mentioning that the International Conference \u201cWomen and the Holy Quds\u201d is being held with the participation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and other similar institutions.
