According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>The webinar \u201cPalestine; our first cause\u201d was held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, on the eve of the International Quds Day, by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and with the participation of the Center of the United Ummah.<\/p>\n

In this webinar, referring to the impact of the Islamic Revolution of Iran on Palestine, Mubarakah Al-Brahimi, a former member of the Tunisian Parliament, stated, \u201cDespite four decades of sanctions, Iran has made great strides. The victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran has had a great impact on Palestine. After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (r.a.) established the International Quds Day, and now this day is being revived in different parts of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cImam Khomeini (r.a.) considered Palestine to be the axis of the struggle against arrogance and believed that the importance of Palestine was above all ideological matters. In his view, the fight for the liberation of Palestine is necessary and everyone should be involved in it. The late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) made the issue of Palestine part of the conscience of the Iranian people,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cEgypt, under the pretext that it is a poor country and needs international aid, agreed to normalize its relations with the Zionist regime in the Camp David. In contrast, Iran took steps to develop armed resistance in Palestine, so that now resistance missiles reach the farthest points in the occupied territories, and we witnessed the firing of these missiles in Quds Sword operation,\u201d added the former member of the Tunisian parliament.<\/p>\n

Saying that the reason for Iran\u2019s loyalty to the Palestinian cause is its belief in the legitimacy of the cause, the former member of the Tunisian parliament stated, \u201cIran strongly defends the Palestinian cause in the international community. Global arrogance waged wars in the region to divert attention from the Palestinian cause, which was to serve the Zionist regime.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are witnessing the interaction of the governments of the Arab countries on the Persian Gulf with the Zionists, and even those governments that did not eagerly pursue relations with the Zionist regime, by their silence, helped to compromise with the occupying regime. We should not let the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime become a normal event in the region, because Palestine is not a personal issue,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn recent days, we held a motorcade rally in Tunisia in support of Palestine with pictures and the flag of the country.
