The 6th<\/sup> International Arbaeen Pilgrimage Scientific Seminar was started by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research in cooperation with Iraqi institutions and universities.<\/p>\n

The opening ceremony of the Seminar was held on the Friday morning, September 23, 2022, in the Khatam al-Anbiya Hall of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (a.s.) in Karbala.<\/p>\n

The theme of the 6th scientific and international seminar of Arbaeen Pilgrimage is \u201cArbaeen; perseverance on the path, the sign of identity\u201d.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by many Shiite and Sunni scholars, presidents of Iraqi universities, scholars and writers, administrative and military officials, tribal sheikhs, managers of scientific-research institutions, and a group of educated women.<\/p>\n

Mr. Hassan Khakarand as the representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and Hojat al-Islam Hosseini Aref as the representative of the Ashura International Foundation participated in this scientific and religious seminar.<\/p>\n

Arbaeen Pilgrims should confront western propaganda, corrupt movements: Al-Abayeji<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second speaker of the opening ceremony of the 6th<\/sup> International Scientific Seminar of Arbaeen Pilgrimage was Mr. Hassan Rashid Javad Al-AeBayji, Secretary-General of the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.).<\/p>\n

While referring to the hadith of Imam Hasan Askari (a.s.) who said, \u201cArbaeen pilgrimage is one of the signs of faith\u201d he stated, \u201cThe Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, \u201cEveryone will reunite (in the hereafter) with a people who love them, and if someone is interested in the activities of a people, he is involved in their activities.\u201d Therefore, by participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage, we show that we love Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his companions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also, regarding the participation of followers of other religions in the Arbaeen Walk, Al-Abayeji stated, \u201cToday, we see believers, Muslims and even non-Muslims who, by attending the Arbaeen pilgrimage, bring themselves closer to Imam Hussain (a.s.) and the martyrs of Karbala, and somehow involved themselves in their uprising.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe path of Arbaeen is a new revolution, which is the continuation of the uprising of Imam Sajjad (a.s.) and Lady Zainab (a.s.) against the Umayyad tyranny,\u201d he added, \u201cOne of the important dimensions of the Arbaeen pilgrimage is that all nationalities, colors and languages \u200b\u200bchant \u201cYa Hussain\u201d in the same language.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is for this reason that Imam Hussain (a.s.) become universal. Because his uprising was the uprising of the truth against falsehood, and (now is) against those who continue that tyranny,\u201d Al-Abayeji emphasized.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we see millions of pilgrims I the Arbaeen Great Walk, we realize the precious words of Imam Hussain (a.s.) as he said, \u201cI don\u2019t rise for the reaching position and pleasure, nor for rebellion and being tyrant. Rather, I rise for reform the affairs of my Grandfather\u2019s Ummah. I want to enjoin the good and forbid the evil and move in the path of my grandfather and father\u201d,\u201d expressed the secretary-general of the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.).<\/p>\n

\u201cTherefore, the presence of millions of pilgrims in the Arbaeen Walk is the answer to the call of the Imam as he said, \u201cIs there anyone who can help me\u201d,\u201d Al-Abayeji argued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe uprising of Imam Hussain (a.s.) preserved the immaculate tree of Islam alive,\u201d he added, \u201cIn a time that some people have forgotten enjoining good and forbidding evil, we should refer to Imam Hussain (a.s.), and protect Islam, its rulings and rituals.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to the cultural invasion of the west, the secretary-general of the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) added, \u201cUnfortunately today the propaganda of the enemy of the Islam has infiltrated in the houses of all of us, to deviate our youngsters, children and societies by their corrupt international culture. Those who participate in Arbaeen ceremony should confront these corrupt intellectual movements too.\u201d<\/p>\n

A series of international scientific seminars on Arbaeen Pilgrimage<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every year, the call for scientific and international seminar of Arbaeen Pilgrimage is announced by the Karbala Center for Study and Research at Iraqi universities, as well as scientific societies abroad, and it is held in Karbala before Arbaeen Day.<\/p>\n

But this year, due to some incidents in Iraq, it was not feasible to hold the 6th seminar before Arbaeen Day. Therefore, the seminar started on Friday 24, September, six days after the anniversary of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.).<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that the Karbala Center for Study and Research is the research branch of the Office of Imam Hussain (a.s.) Holy Shrine, and has extensive activities in scientific, research, publishing and cultural fields.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
