ABWA Official Website \u2013<\/strong> On Sunday, February 26, 2023, the 12th<\/sup> International Congress of Imam Sajjad (a.s.), with the subject of studying the character of Imam Sajjad (a.s.) and the role of the Sahifa Sajjadiyya in the Jihad of Enlightenment, was held with the collaboration of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and a group of seminary researchers in the Ghadir conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary in Qom.<\/p>\n

In this congress, the representative of Wali Faqih in Hormozgan province and the Friday Imam of Bandar Abbas city stated, \u201cImam Sajjad (a.s.) carried out the Jihad of Enlightenment by dua and the language of man\u2019s Fitrah (human divine nature). The era of that Imam (a.s.) is unique in history.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter the Ashura and the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s.), many Shiite dignitaries were martyred either during the Ashura event or in the subsequent uprisings,\u201d continued Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Ebadizadeh.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring that harsh time, Imam Sajjad (a.s.) reinforced the line and school of AhlulBayt (a.s.) by training appropriate staff, and in the conditions of severe suffocation of the time, and the very severe suffocating conditions of the era provided the basis for the scientific movement of his noble children, especially Imam Baqer (a.s.),\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should know that the main infrastructure of the scientific movement of Imam Baqer (a.s.) in providing the valuable Islamic encyclopedia and its blessings and paving the way to train and educate the students, was provided by Imam Sajjad (a.s.),\u201d Ebadizadeh added.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn line with the Jihad of Enlightenment, the 4th<\/sup> Imam of the Shiites had a great trust burden on his shoulders, and this stage was accompanied by great hardships, the dimensions of which should be properly explained to today\u2019s generation and the general public,\u201d said the head of the Policy Making Council of the International Congress of Imam Sajjad (a.s.).<\/p>\n

\u201cImam Sajjad (a.s.) did important work in the direction of explaining Ma\u2019aref and enlightenment in the Islamic society, and in line with the Jihad of Enlightenment, he used influential tools and weapons, such as dua, to guide the society in different contexts,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn his lifetime, with the scientific and cultural movement, Imam Sajjad (a.s.) took great steps for the education of the generation and the flourishing of intellects, the fruits of which we witnessed more in the later eras,\u201d Ebadizadeh added.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to dua, the sermons and speeches of Imam Sajjad (a.s.) in Kufa and Levant, caused the society of that time to come to its senses and the Imam\u2019s enlightenment became the basis for the awakening of the people,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Further in this congress, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki gave a speech, and referring to the importance of paying attention to the divine love and its effect on human life, he said, \u201cDivine love is so multi-dimensional, vast and important, that it requires hours of talk, and it itself requires extensive study and research.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn human education, establishing healthy relationships, and forming a transcendent society, the divine love is so important that Imam Sajjad (a.s.) disseminated it through dua in the Islamic society,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis honorable father, Imam Hussain (a.s.) also displayed the highest manifestations of divine love in Karbala, and it must be emphasized that the most excellent picture depicting the love relationship with God was portrayed in Karbala,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Infallibles (a.s.), are the heroes and knights in the love relationship with the Almighty God, and at the peak of this relationship, are Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and Imam Ali (a.s.),\u201d he stated, \u201cThe love relationship with God in the form of dua is an art, especially for the Infallibles (a.s.), which is specifically manifested in duas narrated from Imam Sajjad (a.s.).\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is the divine burning love that makes our fighters and mujahids go to the battlefield in the way of God and for God, and achieve the high status of martyrdom,\u201d he said, \u201cIt is this burning divine love that paves the way for human perfection and puts them on the path of growth and excellence.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the blessings of the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) is that he will open the doors of the love relationship with God for humans in the most complete way,\u201d Ayatollah Araki noted.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn describing the lifestyle of the Infallibles (a.s.), especially Imam Ali (a.s.), we should pay attention to all aspects of their life, including their prayers and worship, and take the best models,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that in the 12th<\/sup> International Congress of Imam Sajjad (a.s.), some seminary researchers presented their articles on the role of Sahifa Sajjadiyya in the Jihad of Enlightenment.
