ABWA Official Website \u2013<\/strong> On Sunday morning, July 16, 2023, the specialized session \u201cDemands from the West and the Chaste Life of Iranian and Western Muslim Women\u201d was held with the theme \u201cBreeze of Purity\u201d with the participation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

In this session, Dr. Iran Roknabadi, Head of Women\u2019s Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, \u201cChastity and hijab are among the most necessary and challenging religious and social issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA part of hijab and chastity is interior, which includes chastity, hijab, modesty, decency, and dignity. The other part is the exterior, which crystallizes as covering the whole body. If these two complement each other, and the hijab is fully observed, it is considered power and status for a woman,\u201d she said about the types and observance of hijab.<\/p>\n

\u201cObservance of hijab and chastity makes women achieve success that is not possible without them. Amid the Islamic Revolution of Iran, women were pioneers in jihad, and they achieved success in religious jihad. Therefore, the Iranian woman became a source of pride,\u201d emphasized the Head of Women\u2019s Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe enemy has spent millions of dollars on anti-cultural activities against veiled Iranian women. The West spends a lot of money to remove the hijab all over the world. But the Iranian woman thwarts all their plans,\u201d she said on the ominous plans of the West against the hijab.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe woman is the center of the family,\u201d Mrs. Roknabadi said, \u201cIf the enemy weakens a woman\u2019s hijab, she will no longer have anything to develop spiritually and constructively with. If a woman becomes weak, her husband and children will also become weak.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHijab is a shared responsibility for men and women. Almighty God knows man and woman better. Therefore, He has made hijab necessary. The enemies of Islam have recognized the center well and are using all means to advance their evil goals,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Regarding the position of veiled women in society, the Head of Women\u2019s Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, \u201cA woman wearing hijab is successful and proud in all fields. Hijab is the base and foundation of development. Hijab is a value, protection, and immunity for women. Women\u2019s veil does not conflict with social participation, and it preserves the family. Therefore, hijab is a sharia, religious and human obligation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo strengthen hijab and chastity, we must propagate, and we should start from our family first. At the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, we are ready to cooperate and think together to strengthen chastity and hijab\u201d she said at the end of her speech on the methods of strengthening the hijab.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that the program will be held at the same time as the anniversary of the Goharshad incident, and the week of \u201cChastity and Hijab\u201d in person and virtually, with the cooperation of the Sisters Branch of Basij of Lawyers Organization, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and Lady Amin Cultural Center.<\/p>\n
