According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>The opening ceremony of the 6th<\/sup> Exhibition of Books and Scientific Achievements of Seminary Research Centers entitled Meshkat was held on Sunday, January 7, 2024, with a speech by Ayatollah Arafi, the director of Iran\u2019s seminaries, and attended by provincial and seminary officials at the Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Complex of Martyrs Cemetery of Qom.<\/p>\n

In an interview with ABNA on the sidelines of the exhibition, a member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly on the necessity of matching the research projects with the needs of the day, stated, \u201cAccording to what I had the opportunity to visit the exhibition, I must say that a good effort has been made to update the research projects according to the needs of the day, although there is still a big gap between needs and research projects.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the programs of the research department of seminaries in the field of research, Ayatollah Mahdi Hadavi Tehrani said, \u201cIn my opinion, if the policies that the research department of the seminary has taken, and the actions it has taken in this direction, are continued, completed, and the next steps are taken to reach the expected point, it will definitely be an effective step to fill the gap of needs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regarding the pathology of the seminary’s research activities, he said, \u201cThe most important issue that should be paid attention to is that research organizations must be related to each other and be aware of each other\u2019s activities. More than thirty years ago, we tried to pave the way for this work. Some measures were also taken, but I feel that there is still not enough and active communication between institutions and research centers in such a way that all research centers are aware of the activities of other centers to avoid repetitive and parallel activities, or to put aside some work that may have little research value compared to the needs, and to do more important activities instead. I hope that this exhibition will create an opportunity for communication between research centers so that they can communicate with each other on a permanent and systematic basis.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cResearch centers do not know each other, and the work done is isolated. This is a necessity for the organizations to be formed as a coherent center, and we hope that this books fair and scientific achievements of seminary research centers will be a step in this direction,\u201d said the professor of the higher levels of the Qom seminary.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that the 6th<\/sup> Exhibition of Books and Scientific Achievements of Seminary Research Centers entitled Meshkat is open to the public from 7 to 12 January from 9 to 19. In this exhibition, more than 80 seminary research and publishing organizations, including the AhlulBayt (a.s.)
