ABWA Official Website \u2013<\/strong> On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, the honoring ceremony for journalists, as well as the annual gathering of colleagues of AhlulBayt (a.s.) news agency – ABNA, was held in the meeting hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom.<\/p>\n

In this ceremony, which was held in the presence of ABNA colleagues from different cities and countries, and educated media and cultural figures, Hassan Sadraei Aref, the head of ABNA News Agency, presented a report of his 18-month management period.<\/p>\n

Referring to the revival of non-Persian languages \u200b\u200bin the ABNA News Agency, Sadraei Aref stated, \u201cSince the beginning of being in Abna, while appreciating the efforts of former managers and colleagues and trying to preserve the existing heritage, efforts were made to strengthen and create new capacities. In this regard, the gradual revival of languages \u200b\u200bwas ordered, and news production in five languages \u200b\u200bof the news agency started. Also, the trial activity in Korean has started as the 28th<\/sup> language of ABNA News Agency. These actions were carried out with the support of the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to ABNA\u2019s active presence in important events of the Islamic world and addressing important cases, he said, \u201cIn ABNA News Agency, we had a significant growth in social networks, and in the last 18 months, the number of ABNA portals has doubled. The number of users of these portals has grown 13 times, and the number of content views on the ABNA portals in social networks has tripled at least, all of which can be counted and observed.\u201d<\/p>\n

The head of ABNA News Agency added, \u201cTo fix some technical problems in the current website of the news agency, we are changing the site software. However, the visits of the ABNA News Agency website have increased two and a half times in the recent period.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cABNA has moved towards content production and its productions during this period have been remarkable,\u201d he continued, \u201cSo that different meetings and interviews have been conducted in the main languages. Also, holding events during this period has been one of the actions of the news agency, and in the last 18 months, more than 15 events were held in ABNA.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the end of his report, Sadraei Aref said, \u201cAnother measure in the recent period is the launch of the specialized archive of ABNA News Agency. We also prepare the marketing attachment and plan for streaming in the news agency. ABNA has started using artificial intelligence for production, and today we are unveiling the first AI reporter. Also, by the end of this year, 5 AI reporters will start working in the news agency, and their reports on the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) School will be published in different languages.\u201d<\/p>\n
