According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>\u00a0In a meeting with the Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah \u201cReza Ramezani\u201d presented a report on the activities of the Assembly and the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) to serve this grand source of emulation.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cYou are one of the influential figures of the Islamic and Shiite world. Your research and academic writings are used a lot. You have also trained many students which are serving people,\u201d said the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the meeting, expressing happiness with the physical condition and health of Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cYour support for the proximity of denominations in looking to the issues of the Islamic world, and your resistance against the conspiracies and divisive plans of the enemies is also very important and admirable. May God bless you for long and lasting life, Insha\u2019Allah,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIn this conference, we intend to work beyond the discussion of the faith and Islam of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.). His services and efforts in defense of Islam and the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) are very important, which you also emphasize,\u201d said Ayatollah Ramazani.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cEvery four years, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly holds a conference in Iran, in which, the representatives of the Assembly are invited to discuss and collaborate on the most important events in the Shiite world and the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.). During the 30 years since the establishment of the Assembly, 6 important conferences have been held. The forthcoming conference will be held next year in the holy city of Mashhad, and in addition to specialized meetings, it is a great opportunity for the guests of the assembly to have Tawfiq to pilgrim Imam Reza (a.s.), meet the Supreme Leader, and Grand Sources of Emulation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIt was decided that the conference would be held in June 2020, when the Sources of Emulation are in Mashhad. We also ask that you speak at the conference and meet with guests so that we can benefit from your guidance,\u201d said the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThe prominent figures and also writers who have collaborated with the Abu Talib (a.s.) International Conference and submitted articles have been invited in the conference,\u201d said Ayatollah Ramazani, referring to the coincidence of holding the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) with the 7th<\/sup> Conference of the General Assembly in the holy city of Mashhad.<\/p>\n

\nIn this meeting, referring to the articles sent to the Secretariat of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Deputy Secretary General, and Deputy of Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Hojat al-Islam Ahmadi Tabar said, \u201cNumerous articles have been submitted in Arabic, Persian, English, and Urdu that are under review and evaluation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\u201cSedaghat Ali, a Sunni scholar from Pakistan, has written a book in Urdu entitled \u201cMysticism of Abu Talib (a.s.)\u201d. We are going to prepare a report on the book in Persian and invite the author to come to Iran and have a meeting with you,\u201d added Ahmadi Tabar.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIn holding the conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly tries to examine the aspects of Abu Talib\u2019s services and the actions taken in defense of Islam and the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h). So that his oppression will be removed and the Islamic world will know him better and more,\u201d added Ahmadi Tabar.<\/p>\n


\nHazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) was a great figure, and a defender and supporter of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThen, during his speech, appreciating the efforts and measures taken to hold the conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi stated, \u201cHazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) was a great figure, defender and supporter of the Holy Prophet of Islam (p.b.u.h). He performed very important services. According to the late Allameh Amini in the great book of \u201cAl-Ghadir\u201d, the reason for the enmity of the enemies of AhlulBayt (a.s.) with Abu Talib (a.s.) was that the enemies, especially the evil family of the Umayyads, destroyed all those who were with Imam Ali (a.s.), his friends, companions, and supporters.\u201d<\/p>\n
