According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary General of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed his condolences on the demise of Ayatollah Yazdi, former chairman of the Assembly of Experts and secretary of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/strong>The message of the Ayatollah Reza Ramazani is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIn the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n


\n\u201cHe hath bestowed on those who strive a great reward above the sedentary\u201d (Holy Quran, 4:95)<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe pure spirit of the Mujahid scholar, the brave jurist and revolutionary intellectual, Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Mohammad Yazdi passed away to join and meet Allah.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThis great and virtuous cleric spent his whole life promoting the word of Islam and the teachings of the Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.); And in this way he endured many hardships.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nHe was one of the first scholars who joined the movement of late Imam Khomeini and during the years of Shah\u2019s oppression, and he endured the suffering of exile and imprisonment, but did not give up the fight against oppression; as his signature is seen under all the declarations issued by the ulema in support of the Imam Khomeini and the revolution.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nBefore and after the Islamic Revolution, the courage and resistance of the late Ayatollah Yazdi in defending Islam and the revolution, is very instructive and have very lessons.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nHis significant services in important institutions such as the Combatant Clergy Association, the Assembly of Leadership Experts, the Islamic Parliament of Iran, the Expediency Discernment Council, Judicial system of Iran, the Guardian Council, the Friday prayers, the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom and the Supreme Council of Seminaries are always praiseworthy to all those interested in the Islamic revolution.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAlso, years of teaching and upbringing students, as well as his writings and works in various fields of the Quran, Islamic jurisprudence, beliefs and morals, will be lasting virtues for the deceased.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nI offer my condolences this irreparable loss to the Imam Mahdi (a.s.), as well as to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, and the great Sources of Emulations, the esteemed members of the Assembly of Experts and the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom – who lost an old colleague – and his esteemed students and family.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nI ask God, the Almighty to unite the souls of this wise scholar and his wife, who deceased recently, with the AhlulBayt (a.s.); and grant patience to all family members.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n\u201cIndeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return\u201d (Holy Quran 2:156)<\/span><\/p>\n
