According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>During the visit to Iraq, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and his accompanying delegation met former Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, a member of the General-Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n


\nHaj Qassem international martyr of resistance: Ramazani<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this meeting, on the issue of resistance in Islam, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, \u201cThe Quranic verses refer to resistance and jihad, and these issues can be explained based on rational arguments.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cExpansionism, tyranny, and exploitation are not the objectives of the resistance in Islam, but its goal is to elevate the word of truth and free the oppressed from the clutches of the arrogant. Countering authoritarianism and the domination flow are also among objectives of the resistance,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had several important and public meetings with the Iraqi elites, nomads, and youth. I saw that they consider the fight against arrogance as their main views, and this is thanks to the revolution (of Iran) and the thoughts of Imam Khomeini,\u201d he said, regarding the idea of \u200b\u200bthe fight against arrogance among the Iraqi people.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, the Resistance has become an international and global flow, and Haj Qassem is a martyr of the resistance in the international arena.\u201d emphasized the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe arrogant flow expends a lot much in Bahrain, Iraq, and Afghanistan, but failed to achieve the result. In contrast, the resistance movement emerged as a global power. National and international unity can contribute to strengthening the flow of resistance. Therefore, it is necessary for us to try to introduce Islam comprehensively, accurately, and deeply. Islamic scholars also must be diligent in theorizing this thought,\u201d he said, regarding the successive defeats of the arrogant flow in the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe consider resistance to be the same as divine rationality and mercy, and all human society should benefit from this mercy,\u201d stated Ayatollah Ramazani.<\/p>\n

\u201cIslamic unity should not be seen as a tactic, but as a method. Unity is a Quranic method attributed to the Ahl al-Bayt. Also, extremism must be confronted, from all walks of life, whether Shiite or Sunni,\u201d he said, regarding the need for Islamic unity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose in charge of religious policy must seriously consider the principles and foundations of politics. Also, the Machiavellian view, which exists in some Islamic countries, must be hated and confronted,\u201d said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in another part of his speech.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have proved in practice that in order to achieve the lofty goals, you pay attention to the unity of Iraq and are subject to the Marjaiat. These cases show that you follow Velayat and authority. You accepted the responsibility to serve and develop the culture of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) as a trust,\u201d he said addressing Nouri al-Maliki.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe world has turned to political and social Islam, and to attract human societies we can provide the world with the most accurate concepts. Today, there is no room for experimentation and risk-taking, and our smallest mistake may be a threat in the way to achieve the great results,\u201d stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, we are in the midst of a great movement, and we want to step on the path of Islamic civilization, and more importantly, we want to use all this as a prelude to the Advent of Imam Mahdi (a.s.). On the other hand, the most important element of Advent is the realization of justice in human societies. Imam Khomeini said in this regard that we act according to the verse \u201c\u0623\u064e\u0646\u0652 \u062a\u064e\u0642\u064f\u0648\u0645\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0644\u0650\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u0650 \u0645\u064e\u062b\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0649 \u0648\u064e \u0641\u064f\u0631\u064e\u0627\u062f\u064e\u0649\u201d (that you rise up for Allah\u2019s sake, in pairs or singly) (Quran, Sura Saba\u2019, verse 46), the dignity of Muslims will be achieved,\u201d he said in the end.<\/p>\n


\nIn Iraq, the enemies seek to create Shiite-Shiite sedition: al-Maliki<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following the meeting, Nouri al-Maliki, the former Iraqi Prime Minister, and a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, \u201cIn the past, some people called politics najis (unclean), believing that it is enough to go to mosques, and we should only deal with the worship rules of Islam. But the period of these words is over.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the history of the beginning of Islam, we read that in the time of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet\u2019s Mosque) was the center of government and decisions for peace and war. Also, the economic decisions were made in the mosque,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to the hadiths, if a Muslim hears the voice of an oppressed Muslim, he should respond to that voice, and help the oppressed, and this is not possible without entering the field of politics. Helping the oppressed people of Palestine is possible only through entering politics,\u201d added the former Iraqi Prime Minister.<\/p>\n

\u201cMartyr Sadr said that with the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini fulfilled the wish of the divine prophets, and after the victory of the revolution, Islamic movements emerged,\u201d stated Nouri al-Maliki, referring to the characteristics of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe United States fears the formation of a global axis centered on countries such as Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain, and Afghanistan. These countries are economic powers and can form a rival axis against the American axis. The United States seeks to prevent the formation of such an axis,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo action can be taken without creating unity among the Muslim Ummah, and one of the most important tasks of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, is to unite Muslims,\u201d added the member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Iraq, the enemies are seeking to create a Shiite-Shiite sedition to hit the Shiites of the country,\u201d said Nouri al-Maliki, referring to the events in Iraq.<\/p>\n
