According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>On the evening of Thursday, July 29, 2021, during the Eid al-Ghadir celebration, which was held in the Haj Sami Mosque in Rasht, following the hygienic procedures due to Covid-19, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, \u201cCelebration meetings on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir should be held very glorious. But the emergency situation due to the infamous Covid-19 virus has caused us to be content with the minimum.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, the Covid-19 virus has caused great damages to society, especially to religious ceremonies and Friday and congregational prayers,\u201d stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

While offering congratulation on Eid al-Ghadir and referring to the verse \u201c\u0627\u0644\u0652\u064a\u064e\u0648\u0652\u0645\u064e \u0623\u064e\u0643\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0644\u0652\u062a\u064f \u0644\u064e\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u062f\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0648\u064e\u0623\u064e\u062a\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0645\u0652\u062a\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0646\u0650\u0639\u0652\u0645\u064e\u062a\u0650\u064a\u201d (This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you) (Quran, Surah: Al-Ma\u2019idah, Verse: 3), he said, \u201cThis verse refers to the perfection and completion of religion. That is, if the Ghadir event did not occur, religion would remain incomplete.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf there was no Imamate and Wilayah, religion would be soulless and without guards,\u201d clarified Ayatollah Ramazani, pointing out that Imamate and Wilayah have completed the religion.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe religion was completed in the 23 years of the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), and if there was no Imamate, all the efforts of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) would have been lost,\u201d added the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, expressing that the Imam is the guardian of religion.<\/p>\n

\u201cKuffar believed that after the demise of the Prophet (p.b.u.h), all the events that took place in 23 years of the prophethood would disappear, but the Prophet disappointed the enemies with the Event of al-Ghadir,\u201d he said, pointing out that religion is eternal as long as human beings exist and the Prophet Muhamad (p.b.u.h) is the Prophet of all humanity.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the leader of the Islamic Ummah, the wisdom of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), required him to determine the protection of religion, and the Event of al-Ghadir specified this task,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani clarified.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe best person who has a special knowledge and status of Ismat (infallibility), and the religion should be guided by him, was appointed by God and announced to the people by the Prophet (p.b.u.h),\u201d added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, considering the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) as the most sympathetic person to religion.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis speech of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) was not ordinary. So that in three days, every single person, even women, came and pledged allegiance (to Imam Ali),\u201d he clarified, explaining that according to famous narrations, 18,000 people were present during the recitation of Ghadir\u2019s sermon by the Prophet (p.b.u.h).<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the Event of al-Ghadir, the religion recognized its guardian, and just as the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) has authority, the guiding Imam must also have scientific, spiritual and political authority, and in general, religious authority,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out.<\/p>\n

\u201cGhadir is not just for Shiites, but for all Muslims,\u201d stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the fact that in the al-Ghadir event, it was announced to the people who will be in charge of the religious authority of the Islamic world after the Prophet (p.b.u.h).<\/p>\n

Today, the Event of al-Ghadir can be influential for the growth of Islamic society<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stating that today the Event of al- Ghadir can be influential for the growth of Islamic society, he said, \u201cThe Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) considers he Eid Al-Ghadir the greatest Eid of his Ummah, and this event should be analyzed and investigated.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the day of Ghadir, Imam Ali (a.s.) was introduced as the most perfect, ascetic, and bravest person, so that the enemies would be disappointed in carrying out any animosity,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out.<\/p>\n

\u201cGhadir offers the most accurate understanding of religion to human society,\u201d said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that today if the doctrine of Ghadir is considered, its role in the protection of religion will be understood.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the Event of Al-Ghadir had not happened, there would have been no trace of the truth and spirit of the religion and the Quran, because the enemies could have easily distorted it,\u201d he added, stating that the occurrence of Al-Ghadir Event led to the establishment of the school of Imam Sadeq (a.s.) and Imam Baqer (a.s.).<\/p>\n

\u201cThroughout history, Imamate must exist, and today, this leadership and Imamate is in the hands of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) as the guiding Imam,\u201d stated the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts, pointing out that the Imam does not allow society to be deviated.<\/p>\n

\u201cWherever the principle of Imamate is properly taken place and followed by the presence and allegiance of the people, the society becomes honored, and it is saved and freed from all deviations,\u201d he clarified.<\/p>\n

\u201cWherever the successor of Imam has been present and acted his social and political role, religion has played a role in the social arena,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact that the Prophet (p.b.u.h) invites people to pledge allegiance to Ali (a.s.) means that he wants the social and political aspects of religion to be appeared in society,\u201d emphasized the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that one of the important lessons of al-Ghadir is that religion is not separate from politics.<\/p>\n

The Islamic Revolution of Iran is glitter, appearance, and manifestation of the Imamate movement<\/strong><\/p>\n

Considering al-Ghadir as the most important Muslim gathering in which the Imam of the society is introduced, he added, \u201cThis event determined the situation of Muslims in the future of human history.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should all appreciate this revolution. Also, the spread and propagation of religion in the social arena must emerge with justice and fairness,\u201d he emphasized, pointing out that the Islamic Revolution of Iran is glitter, appearance, and manifestation of the Imamate.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, we must seek for the people in the Islamic system to taste justice, and this is a divine promise,\u201d said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that justice without religion has no meaning, and the connection between religion and justice is very clear.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe system must show its efficiency so that the people are not pressured and do not feel disappointed,\u201d he clarified, stating that if the true rule of the Imam is manifested, the people will achieve security and justice.<\/p>\n

The necessity of appointing the best people for offices is one of the teachings of Ghadir<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, \u201cWe hope that in the new government with new conditions, by the efforts and help of all institutions, we will not see more pressure on the people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyone who wants to serve in the province, local council, parliament, governorate, etc., must have the necessary expertise,\u201d he said, considering the appointment of the best people in the offices as one of al-Ghadir\u2019s teachings and messages.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome want to enter the civil offices without having an understanding of the relevant issues,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani said, criticizing some people who register without sufficient expertise to attend positions and offices.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf someone knows that the other person is better than him in his current administration if he does not give the position to him, he will be a traitor,\u201d emphasized the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to a hadith from Imam Ali (a.s.) regarding the acceptance of positions.<\/p>\n

Pointing out that al-Ghadir\u2019s second teaching is that people should participate in determining their destiny, he stated, \u201cThe view of people participation in determining their destiny, is our theological view and the jurisprudential theory of the Supreme Leader, Imam Khomeini, and many other Ulama.\u201d<\/p>\n

Al-Ghadir Event is shown in justice and manifestation of ideals set in religion<\/strong><\/p>\n

Expressing hope for creating a ground for justice in society, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, \u201cGhadir\u2019s message to today\u2019s society is that even remote cities can truly enjoy justice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn our lives, we should benefit from and use the teachings of al-Ghadir,\u201d noted the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts, emphasizing al-Ghadir Event is shown in justice and the manifestation of ideals that are set in religion.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is our duty to show and introduce the teachings of al-Ghadir Event in the home, society and the three forces of the system (legislature, executive and judiciary),\u201d he added, noting that one has not done his duty toward al-Ghadir Event, by just holding a celebration and feeding session.<\/p>\n

\u201cUntil we become people of al-Ghadir, the ground for the advent of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) will not be provided,\u201d stated Ayatollah Ramazani, saying that the people will become people of al-Ghadir when this doctrine manifests itself in all its dimensions.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we become the people of al-Ghadir, we will become the people of Ashura, and if we become the people of Ashura, and have Alawi and Husseini thinking, the ground for the world government of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) will be provided,\u201d said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.)
