According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Abdullah Saleh and Dr. Rashed Al-Rashed, Bahraini combatant scholars, met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in his office in Qom, on Saturday, January 22, 2022.<\/p>\n

In this meeting, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, \u201cToday, thanks to the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the thoughts of Imam Khomeini (r.a.), the geography of resistance has expanded, and in addition to Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq, the resistance has reached Bahrain, Yemen and other regions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope that your efforts to introduce the teachings of pure Islam and the AhlulBayt (a.s.), and to awaken the various segments of the Bahraini people, have been accepted by God and the Infallible AhlulBayt (a.s.). I thank God that the ulama, led by Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, and the people of Bahrain, resisted the oppressive rule well. In my meeting with Sheikh Isa Qassim, I said that if pure Islam and its teachings, such as rationality, resistance, and mercy, are properly introduced, people will be thirsty for it and will follow it,\u201d he addressed the guests.<\/p>\n

We must explain and propagate the message of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and pure Islam well<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIn the West, resistance is interpreted as violence and terror,\u201d the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, \u201cWe in the Assembly and others in the other institutions must explain and propagate the message of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and pure Islam well so that the people will accept it. We must stand against the domination and coercion of the nations.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the Holy Quran and hadiths, the emphasis is on resisting authoritarianism, and any nation and society that distances itself from resistance, will be humiliated. It is stated in a hadith from Imam Sajjad (a.s.) that \u2018It is not permissible for a person to humiliate himself.\u2019 Today, deviations and distortions on various issues are widespread in many societies, and it is our duty to try to stop them. Unfortunately, some Islamic countries follow the global arrogance. The sinister $ 110 billion Saudi arms deal with the United States in Washington has embarrassed the Muslim world. The production and sale of weapons is one of the plans of the global arrogance so that they can sell them to the rulers of the region. Meanwhile, victims of these weapons are usually Muslims,\u201d he said, expressing the importance of resistance from the perspective of Islam.<\/p>\n

The need to increase the awareness of the people of the world<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThanks to God, the idea of \u200b\u200bresistance and awakening of nations is spreading. The Wall Street movement in the US was a sign of the serious weakness of American culture, and today America can no longer determine human and global morality. Today, freedom-loving nations and peoples do not accept American leadership, and the falsity of the slogan \u2018either with us or against us\u2019 has been exposed,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani stated, emphasizing the need to increase the awareness of the people of the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Bahrain, the protests of Sheikh Isa Qassim and other combatant scholars against oppression, injustice and discrimination paid off, and the people were on the scene and supported them,\u201d he said in the end.<\/p>\n

Also in the meeting, Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Abdullah Saleh stated, \u201cWe are aware of the progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran. There is a long history of relations between the Bahrain and Iran, and the movement of ulama between the two countries.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the people of Bahrain became very happy and the connection and interest of the Bahraini people with the ulama and travel to Iran increased. The enemies were upset and angry by these interests and connections. Therefore, they started to harass and persecute the Shiites and the ulama. The \u2018Eshrin Revolution\u2019 began in 2011 and our scholars and friends were very much involved in the popular struggle,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe leadership of Imam Khomeini and the Islamic Republic of Iran has been a good example for the Shiite scholars and people of Bahrain. Iran\u2019s defense of the ulama\u2019s struggles and the presence of the people on the scene has also helped a lot. Iran\u2019s support for the people of Bahrain has been significant in other countries, and despite many problems, the Bahraini people love Iran,\u201d Abdullah Saleh emphasized.<\/p>\n

In this meeting, Dr. Rashed Al-Rashed also stated, \u201cToday, Resistance in the region is very important in terms of culture and politics. Imam Khomeini broke the hegemony of the American superpower. Before the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the issue of Resistance was not mentioned. The concept of \u2018leadership\u2019 is also very important, as the Islamic Revolution of Iran introduced this term into the political literature.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Al-Rashed also referred to these issues: the need for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly to address the cultural issues of Shiites and support them, the need for strong media activity of the Assembly and presence in the arena and field, the need for Assembly\u2019s efforts to preserve mosques, husseiniyahs, holy shrines and Shiite history and identity in Bahrain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
