According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, on the occasion of the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Secretary General, deputies and staff of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly went on the pilgrimage of the shrine of Imam Khomeini and the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution. In this ceremony, the directors and staff of the assembly paid their respects to Imam Khomeini and renewed the covenant with his ideals by laying a wreath.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the ceremony, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, \u201cImam Khomeini (r.a.) provided us with an accurate, comprehensive and in-depth approach to understanding religion. According to his maximum view of religion, the dignity and governmental position of religion emerged.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPerhaps no one imagined that the time would come when religion and Islam would emerge as a world power. In the past, world power was divided into East and West blocs. The Eastern Bloc was left in the dustbin of history due to its empty culture and literature,\u201d stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the functions of government and the characteristics of Islamic sovereignty is to show the power of Islam,\u201d the representative of the Assembly of Experts added, \u201cThe system of the Islamic Republic has shown this power both scientifically and militarily. Today, Iran is one of the most powerful countries that has been able to confront arrogance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks to the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the geography of resistance has been expanded. In his first speech at Imam Khomeini\u2019s holy shrine, the Supreme Leader said, \u2018Our path is the path of the Imam\u2019. Today, friend and foe alike admit that this worthy disciple of Imam Khomeini has shown this way in the best way. We also hope that we will have the opportunity to develop this literature in human society,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the statement of the second phase of the revolution, our strategy should be comprehensive development based on rationality and religious values. The advancement of science, ethics and the realization of justice, the fight against corruption, and finally the Islamic lifestyle, which is the software of the new Islamic civilization, are some of the things we must take a step in their direction,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani stated, referring to the fifth decade of the revolution.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Islamic Revolution of Iran is the prelude to the emergence of a benevolent rule that promotes rationality and spirituality throughout the world. The late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) was an example of a spiritual and political leader whose political leadership was divine and was an example of the baptism of God in the true sense of the word,\u201d added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith Jihadi style, the authorities must manage and advance the revolution with the slogans and ideals of independence, freedom and republic based on Islam. Our officials must be able to jihad in various cultural, political, social and scientific fields and be a model for the world community,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the mainland of Islamic countries, Islamic Iran has set an example for the freedom-seekers of the world,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani clarified, \u201cIn order for this pattern to continue, the jihadist approach must be revived in us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) always opposed extremist thinking and pursued rationality and moderation in the true sense of the word. If the country\u2019s officials are on the same path and their political and social life is based on the teachings of Imam Khomeini (r.a.), we will see hope for progress in the system and the revolution,\u201d said the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts.<\/p>\n

\u201cHope must be instilled in the society, and we must be vigilant against those who seek to create despair and distance between the officials and the people or the clergy and the people.,\u201d emphasized the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is in charge of organizing the affairs of the Shiites in the world,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani said in another part of his speech, \u201cThe Assembly has a duty to promote the literature and discourse of the Islamic revolution in the world, that is, reason, thought, spirituality and justice, and to confront those who seek sedition in the name of religion and the AhlulBayt (a.s.).\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOur task is getting heavier day by day. We must implement the scientific and practical life of Imam Khomeini in society. Imam Khomeini introduced Islam to the world in the best way in different dimensions. We must be very careful not to harm the growth of the revolution. Embezzlements and excessive paychecks are painful and must be removed from Islamic society,\u201d said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.)
