According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>On Wednesday morning, June 29, 2022, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly met with Mohammad Taqi\u00a0Ansarian, the head and owner of Ansarian Publications, and visited the works of the publications.<\/p>\n

In this meeting, while appreciating the efforts of Mr. Ansarian during more than half a century of service in publishing religious books, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani wished him health from God.<\/p>\n

Addressing Mr. Ansarian, Ayatollah Ramazani said, \u201cPublishing religious books requires a strong motivation, and praise be to God, He has given you this success.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to the services of Ayatollah Mar\u2019ashi Najafi in collecting Shiite heritage, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, \u201cWith great efforts and performing Istijari prayers and fasting (prayers and fasting for the dead to get wages, commissioned by order of the relatives of the deceased), he established a grand library in Qom, which is considered as a Shiite treasury. In his will Ayatollah Mar\u2019ashi Najafi mentioned, \u201cBury me at the entrance of the library (which he established) and under the feet of the seekers of knowledge so that they may remember me.\u201d And this thought has lesson for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Emphasizing the need to translate and determine the pronunciation of the words of the Quran and Nahj al-Balagha in foreign languages, Ayatollah Ramazani said, \u201cThis action has a great impact and is effective in understanding the texts for others. When I was in Germany, we started translating the Quran into German and determining its pronunciations.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMs. Annemarie Schimmel, an influential German Orientalist and scholar who wrote extensively on Islam and thinker and knew 15 languages, translated the Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya into German, which is a great service. It is said that she gave the translation to his German friends, and since they became acquainted with the book, they have not resorted to supplication books other than the Sajjadiyya, so that the book became their permanent supplication book. Ms. Schimmel\u2019s devotion to the AhlulBayt (a.s.) was so great that she bequeathed a hadith from Imam Ali to be engraved on her tombstone: \u201c\u0627\u0644\u0646\u064e\u0651\u0627\u0633\u0650 \u0646\u0650\u06cc\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064c \u0641\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u0645\u064e\u0627\u062a\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0627\u0646\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0628\u064e\u0647\u064f\u0648\u0627\u201d (People are asleep and when they die, they wake up),\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the Makaram al-Akhlaq supplication, Imam Sajjad (a.s.) explained the individual and social spheres of human life and the characteristics of human beings in these two spheres,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe esteemed head of Ansarian Publications has rendered a lot of services for publishing Shiite works, which should be appreciated,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani stated.<\/p>\n

In this meeting, in a brief report on the activities of Ansarian Publications, the head of the publishing house said, \u201cWe have published 12,000 books on various topics so far, 500 of which were in English.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPreviously, we had 40 representations in different countries. By 2011, we could easily ship books to other countries. So that in the whole country, the largest production and distribution of books belonged to our publishing. But now, due to the high cost of postage, we are no longer able to post books to other countries. We are not able to continue sending books, and even though we consulted with different departments, it was of no use,\u201d Mohammad Taqi Ansarian added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe government needs to take proper measures to solve the problems of the book fields, and just as subsidies are paid for various things, so should subsidies be allocated for books,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cService in Quranic affairs is another service of this publishing house. The Wahhabis claimed that Iran (Shia) did not have the Quran. Therefore, I decided to collect the printed Quran by the Shiites of Iran, and I managed to collect at least 500 publishing Quran, 200 of which are unique,\u201d added the head of Ansarian Publishing house.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the Anarian publishing house, we have printed and published more than 500,000 volumes of books about Islam, especially the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) and Shia and distributed them in other countries. Also, I have written ten volumes of my memoirs about the Maraje\u2019 (sources of emulation), which is a lasting work,\u201d he said in the end.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly visited the works, books and Qurans published by Ansarian Publishing House, and Mr. Mohammad Taqi Ansarian gave explanations about them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
