According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly gave a speech at the 10th<\/sup> meeting of Iranian cultural attach\u00e9s, which was held in Tehran from July 23 to 28, 2022, after a ten-year hiatus and with the presence of representatives from 60 countries.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of his speech, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, \u201cThe cultural attach\u00e9s of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the true sense of the word, are the country\u2019s cultural ambassadors around the world. Cultural attach\u00e9s should have intelligence dominance in terms of the personalities, developments of the region, as well as the country of their mission.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCultural attach\u00e9s should know the influential people and involve educated personalities in expanding relations between countries. They should develop and strengthen their international interactions at different levels, especially with the academics and elites. Meanwhile, using the noteworthy capabilities of cultural attach\u00e9s, programs should be organized on various occasions,\u201d said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is necessary to increase cooperation to develop foreign interactions and strengthen specialized content in dialogue with officials and personalities of the host country. Also, introducing scientific achievements, knowing Iranian culture to deal with Iranophobia and Islamophobia should also be considered. This issue, in turn, will take place through the development of the discourse of rationality, spirituality, justice and resistance,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is necessary for us to follow the discourse of just peace. Today, resistance, as the indigenous theory of the Islamic Republic the confrontation against the arrogance, should be studied in detail. We must be familiar with this literature in a practical way. Also, to introduce Islam, it is necessary to know the audience precisely,\u201d added the Representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of the Leadership Experts.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe efforts of Iran\u2019s cultural attach\u00e9s to introduce Islam at the international level are very valuable, and of course, these important measures should be supported within the country as well,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Referring to the request of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution regarding the drafting of the comprehensive change document, Ayatollah Ramazani said, \u201cFortunately, there is a change-oriented approach in the management of Islamic Culture and Communication Organization. I hope you will move forward by following the Supreme Leader\u2019s suggestions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn all the cultural, political, and social institutions of the country, the change-oriented discourse should prevail. According to the change-oriented discourse, we intend to become a unique news agency in the world, and we hope that by the end of this year, the preparations for this objective will be provided by initiating activities in different languages \u200b\u200band we will be able to reach scientific authority,\u201d continued the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cI suggest that a comprehensive cooperation memorandum be concluded between the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly to expand interactions in scientific, research, educational, cultural and religious fields,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani said in another part of his speech.<\/p>\n

Referring to importance of the Jihad of Enlightenment, Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized, \u201cSerious measures and robust activities is needed to introduce the achievements of the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. All of us are obliged to participate in Jihad of Enlightenment. You Iranian cultural attach\u00e9s have an important task of Jihad of Enlightenment in the countries of your mission, and you must address it seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we use the language of reason and Fitrah (human divine nature) in different fields, we will be successful,\u201d noted the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fundamentals and principles of the Islamic civilization are Tawhid and religiosity, the rule of Islamic laws from the perspective of Imam Khomeini (r.a.), universality, dialogue and tolerance, morality and spirituality, rationality, the priority of science and knowledge, justice-orientation and the realization the rights of the oppressed, volunteer and Jihadi work, and the following of the Velayat,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo play a significant role for realization of the modern Islamic civilization, we need to review and redefine our understanding of Islam thoroughly,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cIran\u2019s cultural attach\u00e9s, who are at the forefront of international propagation of Islam, can provide the basis for the realization of the modern Islamic civilization in different countries,\u201d emphasized the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly at the end of his speech.<\/p>\n
