According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>On Thursday morning, August 4, 2022, in the mourning ceremony of the sixth day of Muharram in the courtyard of the shrine of Lady Fatimah Okhra (a.s.), sister of Imam Reza (a.s.) in Rasht, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, \u201cOne of the most important issues in religious discussions is confronting the oppression and Shirk (polytheism).\u201d<\/p>\n

Noting that the Ziyarat Ashura is an authentic pilgrimage and a kind of analysis, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, \u201cCeremonies related to AhlulBayt (a.s.) and Ashura should train us as a real waiter (for Imam Mahdi).\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ceremonies for Imam Hussain (a.s.) should have three general characteristics,\u201d he added, \u201cThe first characteristic is that they should educate us in terms of human behavior. Second, these ceremonies should be meetings for enlightenment and self-cultivation.\u201d<\/p>\n

In explaining the third characteristic of the ceremony for Imam Hussein (a.s.), Ayatollah Ramazani continued, \u201cHussaini ceremonies should provide the basis for our practical action.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the Majlis of Imam Hussein (a.s.) we must perform Enlightenment Jihad. These ceremonies are a place to strengthen us to perform Jihad against carnal desires and initiate Enlightenment Jihad,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cZiyarat Ashura is an enlightening text on the battle of truth against falsehood,\u201d said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe must be prepared and trained to be in the field of Jihad. To properly understand the pilgrimage, we must be with Imam Mahdi (a.s.),\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cStaying with Imam Mahdi (a.s.) can lead to revenge in favor of the oppressed and reaching the truth of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and human dignity,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani added.<\/p>\n

\u201cZiyarat Ashura and ceremonies for AhlulBayt (a.s.) should provide grounds for removing ignorance,\u201d he stated, \u201cThe mourning ceremony for Imam Hussain (a.s.) should enhance our knowledge about our obligations and duties. Ziyarat Ashura encounters us with our responsibilities. Man should confront the enemies of God and AhlulBayt (a.s.) with his heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMan should always enlighten others. There are many Quranic verses about Jihad. The reason for Jihad against carnal desires is for man to educate himself and bring him closer to God,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.<\/p>\n

\u201cIslam has a special emphasis on resistance and jihad,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani added, \u201cIf a person commits a sin, God and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) will see it.\u201d<\/p>\n
