According to the Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>On Saturday evening, March 4, 2023, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly met with Shariah representatives of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution in different cities of Iraq.<\/p>\n

In this meeting which was held at the conference hall of the Assembly in Qom, pointing out the importance of propagating Islam, Ayatollah Ramazani said, \u201cMissionaries should propagate pure Islam. You missionaries are mediators between Marjaiat and people, just as the Prophet (p.b.u.h) was the mediator between God and people. The great responsibility of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) has been entrusted to ulama; a responsibility that is very important.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to the Quranic verse, \u201c\u0648\u064e\u0643\u064e\u0630\u064e\u0670\u0644\u0650\u0643\u064e \u062c\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0644\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0627\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0623\u064f\u0645\u064e\u0651\u0629\u064b \u0648\u064e\u0633\u064e\u0637\u064b\u0627\u201d (Thus We have made you a middle nation) (Holy Quran, Surah: Al-Baqarah, Verse: 143), the Islamic Ummah is a middle ummah. Allameh Tabatabai interpreted this verse as saying that ulama are mediators. Because they are role models for the people, just like Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) was a role model for the Islamic Ummah,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing the bearer of good news and warner were among the positions of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), which were entrusted to ulama after him. In addition to bearers of good news and warners, ulama are teachers, all of whom have important positions. Ulama educate the generations, and they are the ones who should not allow heresy to be created in society,\u201d added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

Referring to Grand Ayatollah Bahjat\u2019s advice, Ayatollah Ramazani said, \u201cWhen I arrived in the presence of this great Marja, he said to me, \u201cI entrust you to God and God to you.\u201d By this advice, he meant that the people\u2019s religion (Islam) is a trust in our hands, and this is a great trust. God has entrusted us with his greatest trust, that is, religion (Islam).\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a hadith, Imam Sadeq (a.s.) said, \u201cGod raised His Prophet, and what a good way He raised him. When he perfected Prophet, He said to him: \u2018\u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0646\u064e\u0651\u0643\u064e \u0644\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649\u0670 \u062e\u064f\u0644\u064f\u0642\u064d \u0639\u064e\u0638\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064d\u2019 (and indeed you possess a great character) (Holy Quran, Surah: Al-Qalam, Verse: 4). From this hadith, we understand that when a person becomes polite, the divine command will be entrusted to him. Politeness includes politeness with oneself, politeness with others, and politeness with God,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, the most important opportunity is available to you missionaries. Consider how were the identities of Iran and Iraq 45 years ago and compare how the identities of these two countries today. Today, Islam has reached everywhere and has become a power. There used to be East and West Blocs, but today there are two fronts of Islam and global arrogance. Islam should be propagated comprehensively, without distortion,\u201d added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

While referring to the status of the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.), Ayatollah Ramazani stated, \u201cThroughout history, all the ulama played their role properly. Najaf seminary has preserved Islam for a thousand years. But the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) had a very outstanding role. After a speech I gave in France, someone came to me and said, \u201cImam Khomeini (r.a.) is not only for Iranians, but he was God\u2019s reserve.\u201d He freed religion and brought it into the public sphere of society.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGhadir Eid was celebrated before (before the 1979 Revolution). But the late Imam Khomeini (a.s.) believed that (Eid) Ghadir is a special occasion. Ghadir event occurred so that the best people are appointed in the positions and people have a role in their destiny. Islam does not only have an individual sphere, but also a social sphere. The late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) revived the social sphere of Islam. He used to say that even crying for Imam Hussain (a.s.) is a political matter. The late Grand Ayatollah Bahjat considered crying for Imam Hussain (a.s.) to be higher than Tahajjud. Because there were people who did Tahajjud but stood against the Wali of God (divine saints),\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThirty years after the demise of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), the silent Quran was speared, and fifty years after the demise of the Prophet (p.b.u.h), the speaking Quran (that is Imam Hussain) was speared. Because some people in society did not know the Wali (saint) of God,\u201d added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

Pointing out the importance of the Jihad of Enlightenment, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, \u201cThe first person who performed the Jihad of Enlightenment in the contemporary era was Imam Khomeini (r.a.), who presented a new interpretation of religion. The main task of ulama is shedding light on religion comprehensively, without any negligence towards it. We must understand the youth. Westerners work a lot in this regard, and we must be very vigilant.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are missionaries in a country where some of the main centers of Shia are located, i.e., the holy shrines. Iraq can be one of the main centers for disseminating the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school. We must be up-to-date, and in this era, we must do our duty using modern means,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll Maraje\u2019 (sources of emulation) are important, and it is necessary to respect them. On the other hand, the status of the Wali Faqih must be protected. The world fears the Supreme Leader of the Revolution because of his spiritual power. We must protect this position,\u201d added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

Referring to the activities of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Iraq, Ayatollah Ramazani noted, \u201cWe intend to pay more attention to this (local) Assembly in the future. Hojat al-Islam Behbahani worked diligently in this Assembly during his tenure. From next week, Hojat al-Islam Al-e Ayub will be in the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Iraq, and he will make changes according to his knowledge of this country. We are trying to make the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Iraq more active in terms of the missionary and other sectors. Of course, this Assembly is the missionaries themselves. We consider the missionaries as faithful helpers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and if anything is to be done, it is with the help of the missionaries themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
