According to the Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>On Thursday afternoon, July 20, 2023, in the 22nd<\/sup> commemoration of the martyrs of the 8-year holy defense (Iraq-Iran imposed war) of Basij Resistance district of Imam Hussain (a.s.) of the Amlesh IRGC Headquarters in Shahid Alipur Mosque of Jorkasar village, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, \u201cThe Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.) are sacred things of Muslims. During the era of Imam Hussain (a.s.), many efforts were made to de-sanctify religious matters.\u201d<\/p>\n

The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, \u201cDuring the time of Imam Hussain (a.s.), the Yazid\u2019s followers turned the rules of Islam upside down and depict valuable things to be worthless.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cReligion has come to bring humanity to felicity,\u201d he stated, \u201cReligion must be learned deeply because today some people are trying to eliminate all sacred things.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Imam Hussain (a.s.) had not attended the Ashura incident based on his divine duty, today there would be no trace of Sharia, religion, and the name of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h),\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.<\/p>\n

In the continuation of his speech, while referring to the recent sacrilege of the Holy Quran in Sweden, the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, \u201cThe Western world seeks to desecrate the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), and calls hurting the hearts of 2 billion Muslims freedom of speech!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Global Arrogance project is the closure of sacred matters, Islamic commandments, and Sharia,\u201d he added, \u201cThe power of Muslims should reach such a level that no one dares to insult Muslims.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cZiyarat Ashura is an analysis of the event of Ashura,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani stated, \u201cThe most important achievement of the Islamic Revolution (of Iran) was that it brought religion into the social sphere.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe enemies of Islam want to promote promiscuity and nudity, and if they succeed, there will be no faith left in the religion,\u201d added the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo maintain religiosity, it must be paid. People like Sheikh Fazlullah Nouri, Ayatollah Kashani, and Martyr Modarres were sacrificed for Islam’s cause and even insulted. Ulama are in the field as the guardians of Islam to protect the sanctity of God,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome transgressive people seek to remove the name of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and God in society,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani noted, \u201cThe transgressive people insult Imam Hussain (a.s.) in the worst way. All over the world, if someone insults Islam like Salman Rushdie, he will have a bitter and troubled life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the 70-year rule of the Soviet Union, many mosques were closed, and no one was allowed to pray,\u201d he added, \u201cToday, Islam stands against global arrogance, and its teachings are promoted and taught in the world\u2019s most prestigious universities.\u201d<\/p>\n

The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts emphasized, \u201cThanks to the Islamic Revolution, Islam came to the social sphere. Before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, fervent marches were held during the days of Tasua and Ashura.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Islamic Revolution of Iran is an outgrowth of the Ashura Revolution. Today\u2019s project of the enemy is mockery of Islamic rules and de-sanctification of it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
