According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>On Monday night, July 24, 2023, during the mourning ceremony on the seventh night of Muharram in Mahdiyeh, Rasht, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, \u201cIn Imam Hussain\u2019s (a.s.) eyes, Islam saves man. Islam shows the way and destination to man. By moving away from Islamic teachings, crises, and problems arise for individuals and society.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should not have a minimal view of Islam,\u201d the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts added, \u201cIn addition to the rules of prayer and obligations, Islam has presented plans regarding the relationship of a person with himself, with humans, communication in the international arena and the way of dealing with nature.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Imam Hussain (a.s.) saw Islam in danger, he sacrificed everything. Islam responds to all human needs and is beneficial for the perfection of man and society,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIslam trains humans and gives human dignity and social responsibility. Some people like Yazid and Mu’awiya colonized and dominated in the name of Islam and brought the worst corruption and damage to the society,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should not have a material calculation regarding religion, rather we should look at it in a spiritual way. In mourning ceremonies, we should learn the lesson of faith from Imam Hussain (a.s.). The faith of Imam Hussain (a.s.) was based on the sanctity of the goal, the means, the way, and the Shariah. Imam Hussain (a.s.) sought to return the sacred matter to the society,\u201d he mentioned.<\/p>\n

In another part of his speech, the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, \u201cThe enemy seeks to create a distance between the people and the Sharia and mocks the religious obligations in various ways. The enemy has targeted religion today. Whoever says to spend Hajj expenses elsewhere, has no knowledge of jurisprudence and Islam, nor does he have any acquaintance of knowledge and principles of religion.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe West seeks to promote nudity in religious society. With freedom in terms of nudity, the West has not achieved anything except vulgarity and obscenity,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.<\/p>\n

\u201cFreedom of speech in the West is a lie. In many Western countries, anyone who comments on the Holocaust will be sentenced to prison,\u201d added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone who violates norms and promotes nudity suffers from spiritual, ideological, and intellectual crises. Today, the West is suffering from stress, anxiety, self-deception, self-delusion, and lack of identity,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

Referring to the necessity of establishing identity recognition clinics in the West, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, \u201cIn such clinics, western youths can gain their identity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Further in his speech, while pointing out that \u201cImam Hussain (a.s.) was killed in a path that has been able to return the sacred matter to its original state,\u201d the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts added, \u201cImam Hussain (a.s.) did not allow the holy matter to appear unholy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA person who was educated in the school of Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.) is a respectable person,\u201d he added, \u201cThe faith, means, path, and motivation of Imam Hussain (a.s.) was sacred.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cImam Hussain (a.s.) has taught the Shiites the disavowal (of Polytheists) and Wilayah. That is, if someone is an enemy of Islam, we should be enemies with him, and if someone is a friend of Islam, we should be friends with him. Crying over the sufferings of Imam Hussain (a.s.) should change our way of thinking and thought, as well as our society,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cFaith (in Islam) makes man beloved, proud, loving, purposeful, wise, devout, ascetic, brave, loyal, and responsible,\u201d noted the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.<\/p>\n

Stating that \u201cIranian women have always been chaste, virtuous, brave, courageous and zealous,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani said, \u201cWe are against promoting nudity in society. Lack of zeal has no place in Iranian culture.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the way of the (Islamic) Revolution (of Iran), the purest lives have been sacrificed. Today, the enemy\u2019s plot is to promote vulgarity in society,\u201d said the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.<\/p>\n

At the end of his speech, while referring to being oppressed in an extreme form as one of the characteristics of Imam Hussain\u2019s (a.s.) movement, he said, \u201cThe martyrdom of a six-month-old child (Ali Asqar, son of Imam Hussain), running horses over bodies (of the martyrs, including Imam\u2019s and his companions\u2019), setting fire to tents, capturing women and children, and depriving them of even a sip of water are examples of extreme cruelty against Imam Hussain (a.s.), his relatives and companions in the Karbala incident.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
