According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>On Thursday evening, July 27, 2023, during the mourning ceremony on the night of Ashura of Imam Hussain (a.s.) in Mahdiyeh Rasht, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, \u201cWe need to get more and deeper knowledge from the night of Ashura. In Ashura-style faith, purpose and motives were sacred, and faith was not conditional.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was not the case that they (Imam Hussain\u2019s companions) would give up their faith if their wealth and position were in danger, or that they would give up their faith in order to get more power and wealth,\u201d added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who had belief in Islam with Ashura style considered their faith as sacred. So that they were saved intellectually, morally, and ideologically, and were promoted, and they felt responsible,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who had conditional faith were the ones who gave up and left the field as soon as they were threatened. Like those who ran away when Imam Hussain (a.s.) at the night before Ashura said: \u201cThose who stay will be martyred tomorrow\u201d, and those who broke their allegiance to the Imam with the threats of Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad (Governor of Kufa),\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cBreaking of allegiance was common in Kufa at that time. To the extent that Imam Ali (a.s.) was fed up with them. So that the Imam cursed them and said: \u201cMay God take me from you, and you from me. May good people come for me who are not afraid to enter the field and do not leave it\u201d,\u201d added the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.<\/p>\n

\u201cProper faith has a positive effect on human life, and, on the other hand, unbelief has negative effects. There are people who have just the surface of religion. Imam Hussain (a.s.) intended to teach that one should not only have the surface of religion. Religion has skin and core, and we need to have all its dimensions,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe outcome of Ashura ceremonies should be deep and accurate self-knowledge,\u201d Ayatollah Ramazani stated.<\/p>\n

The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, \u201cThe capacity of the ceremonies for Immaculate Imams (a.s.) is very high, and the fruit of participating in such ceremonies should be seen in relation to oneself, spouse, children, and society. This arrangement of ours for Ashura is good, however, its truth, internal aspect, thought, reflection, and consideration should also be improved.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cToday we see good arrangements in Ashura ceremonies. However, we need to promote the Ashura thoughts in ourselves.
