According to the Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>The session \u201cPresentation of proposals for interaction methods between the Department for Women\u2019s Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the Human Rights Committee of the Islamic Parliament\u201d was held.<\/p>\n

In this meeting, while welcoming Dr. Zohre Elahian, and appreciating her concern about human rights as well as women\u2019s rights, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly gave explanations about the appropriate methods for the interaction of the Human Rights Committee of the Islamic Parliament and the Department of Women\u2019s Affairs of the Assembly. Ayatollah Ramazani also called for preparing a plan or a media attachment for the implementation of activities related to women and family affairs.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first supporters of women\u2019s rights were the prophets, including the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h). Therefore, Islam provides the strongest laws regarding human rights as well as women\u2019s rights, which require correct conveying and strict implementation with methods appropriate to the circumstances,\u201d Ayatollah Reza Ramazani continued.<\/p>\n

Regarding the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, he said, \u201cIn the current situation, the Assembly\u2019s emphasis is on using the AhlulBayt (a.s.) message and the humanist school of Islam in supporting the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers and the rights of women and family. ABNA News Agency active in 27 languages, AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University, Al-Thaqalayn TV channel, and WikiShia encyclopedia active in 22 languages, together with the departments for International Affairs, Cultural Affairs, and Economic Affairs, are taking steps in this direction. To realize the goals of pure Islam and the holy mission of AhlulBayt (a.s.), the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is doing its best to facilitate the path of spirituality, ethics, justice, and rationality for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers. Therefore, we welcome convergence and synergy with other similar institutions.\u201d<\/p>\n

In this meeting, while expressing her gratitude to Ayatollah Ramazani for his special attention to women and family affairs, and also his support for holding a special session for Women of the Resistance Front to declare solidarity with the women and children of Gaza, Dr. Elahian, a member of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic and the head of the Human Rights Committee of the Parliament, called for more cooperation of the Assembly with the Human Rights Committee of the Parliament and other international institutions. She also discussed the necessity for women to play roles in society, especially in the affairs of women and family, in legal dimensions in today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n

Considering the Assembly\u2019s strong capacity in international affairs, Ms. Elahian presented solutions for greater involvement of the Assembly and the Islamic Parliament, which was noticed by the Secretary General of the Assembly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
