{"id":81218,"date":"2025-08-12T10:48:38","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T07:18:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ahlulbaytworldassembly.org\/?p=81218"},"modified":"2026-01-14T11:16:08","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T07:46:08","slug":"genocide-in-gaza-result-of-silence-by-world-leaders-senior-cleric","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ahlulbaytworldassembly.org\/en\/news\/supreme-council-of-the-ahl-al-bayt-a-world-assembly\/genocide-in-gaza-result-of-silence-by-world-leaders-senior-cleric\/","title":{"rendered":"Genocide in Gaza result of silence by world leaders: Senior cleric"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>According to the Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly News Portal: <\/strong>Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, Head of the Committee to Support the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People, condemned the ongoing Israeli military actions in Gaza, calling them \u201cgenocide\u201d fueled by the inaction of Islamic leaders and the backing of the United States.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Speaking to Hawzah News Agency, Akhtari stressed that Palestine remains a central issue for the Islamic world and a permanent priority for the Iranian nation. \u201cThe Islamic Revolution considers itself committed to supporting the Palestinian people in all circumstances, and the liberation of Al-Quds Al-Sharif is always among our top priorities,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">He described the Palestinian resistance as \u201ccourageous and powerful,\u201d expressing hope that the liberation of Al-Quds will be achieved soon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Highlighting recent events, Akhtari said, \u201cWhat we have seen in Gaza over the past two years has once again revealed the child-killing, usurping, and criminal nature of the Zionist regime.
