World Assembly was opened on the Thursday morning, September 1, 2022, with the presence of Shiite elites from more than 115 countries of the world, at the Iran International Conference Center in Tehran, and will continue until the Saturday evening, September 3, 2022.

The Friday prayer of Tehran was held on September 2, 2022, under the leadership of Hojat al-Islam Javad Haj Ali Akbari, the interim Friday imam of Tehran, in compliance with the health guidelines in the Prayer Hall of Imam Khomeini (r.a.).
