ABWA Official Website – The closing ceremony of the international conference “Committed Art in Support of the Holy al-Quds”, as well as the closing and award-giving ceremony of the “3rd International Cartoon Festival of Al-Quds Day” was held on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Azadi Tower Conference Hall by the Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People affiliated with the Presidential Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran. /345/

Emphasizing that committed art should serve the fundamental issues of the Islamic world, Ayatollah Akhtari stated, “Alongside the oppressed nations, such as Palestine and Yemen, the Islamic Republic of Iran continues the path of Resistance.”

Emphasizing that it is essential to mobilize all the capacities of the Islamic Ummah, including art, against the enemy, Sheikh Isa Qassim, the spiritual leader of the Bahraini Revolution said, “Iran’s support to liberation movements is due to the guidance of the Vali Faqih.”

While emphasizing the effectiveness of the language of art in the fight against the Zionist regime, Nasser Abu Sharif, the representative of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced the victory of the Palestinian nation in the unequal media battle against Israel.

Ibrahim Al-Deilami, Yemen’s ambassador to Iran, while describing the Palestinian Cause as the concern of the noble people, emphasized that superficial artists do not deserve to deal with it.

The international conference “Committed Art in Support of Holy Al-Quds” will be held in Tehran by the Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People affiliated with the Presidential Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The scientific session “Social traditions from the Quranic point of view and its function in the nurturing society” will be held by the Women’s Department of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University and Sisters Campus of the Imam Sadeq (a.s.) University.

On the occasion of the demise anniversary of Ayatollah Safi Golpaygani, the 1st “Servicing Jurist” Conference will be held in Qom with the cooperation of seminary and university institutions.
