During Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), a walk was held in Cologne, Germany, with the presence of the Imam’s enthusiasts.

Over the past half century, many Iraqis sacrificed and martyred in the fight against the Saddam regime, then in the war against the American invaders, and recently in the battle against the ISIS terrorist group. The Najaf branch of the Iraq Martyrs Foundation (affiliated to the Prime Minister’s Office) using the opportunity of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), set up a photo exhibition of the martyrs of the Najaf Seminary and the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (a.s.) on the main Najaf-Karbala Road (known as Tariq Ya Hussain).

After the pilgrimage ceremony of Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), the holy shrine of two Askari Imams (a.s.) in Samarra hosted the Arbaeen pilgrims.

The Holy Cellar or Cellar of the Occultation is the basement of the house of Imam Hassan Askari (a.s.), which is located in the northwest of the Holy Shrine of the two Askari Imams (a.s.) in Samarra. The sanctity of this place among Shiites is because it was the house of Imam Hadi (a.s.), Imam Hassan Askari (a.s.) and Imam Mahi (a.s.).

During the ceremony of Imam Hussain (a.s.) Arbaeen, the office of the holy shrine of the two Askari Imams (a.s.) set up an exhibition on the pilgrims’ route on the main Najaf-Karbala Road (known as Tariq Ya Hussain). In this exhibition, pictures of the Samarra shrine, the pieces left from the shrine after the terrorist explosion in 2006, as well as some publications of this shrine are displayed.

On the Arbaeen Great Walk route from Najaf to Karbala, attending the “Neda al-Aqsa” (The Cal of Al-Aqsa) Mowkeb, in front of the pillar No. 833, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, visited the exhibitions of this Mowkeb and participated in its Quranic gathering. After this meeting, a group of resistance-supporting Sunni scholars from Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria, who were present in the Arbaeen Great Walk 1444 H (2022), met with the Secretary-General.

The grave of Martyr Sayed Mustafa Khomeini is located in the shrine of Imam Ali (a.s.), next to the grave of Mohammad Hossein Gharavi Esfahani, known as the “company”. After the pilgrimage of Imam Ali (a.s.), pilgrims come to the rave of martyr Mustafa Khomeini and recite Surah Fatiha.

On the day of Arbaeen, the shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) in Karbala is the meeting place of millions of the enthusiasts of that Imam who have come to this area from different parts of the world. A mourning ceremony was held on the occasion of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.) in the presence of the enthusiasts of that Imam and his faithful companions in Badgam, Kashmir. In this ceremony, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Hassan Al-Musawi al-Safawi, the head of the Shiite Association of Jammu and Kashmir and a prominent member of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, gave a speech.

The commemoration of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.) was held in the city of Kuroman, South Africa.
