On the third day of the International Conference “Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), the Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)”, the specialized session of “Abu Talib (a.s.) from the Perspective of International Scholars” was held on Thursday morning, March 11, 2021, in Qom. Due to the conditions of Covid-19, the session was held in the presence of a limited number of scholars, professors and media representatives in the Quds Hall of the Imam Khomeini Higher Education Complex, but was broadcast live on satellite and Internet networks.

The session of the “History and Life” Committee, one of the specialized committees of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), the Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h), was held on Tuesday evening, March 9, 2021, at the Imam Khomeini School in Qom. The chairman of the committee was Ayatollah Muhammad Hadi Yusofi Gharavi, the judge was Hojat al-Islam Muhammad Reza Motahhari, and its secretary was Hojat al-Islam Abbas Jafari Farahani. In the session Ms. Maryam Kiyani presented an article entitled: “A study on the character of Aqeel Ibn Abi Talib in historical sources”, and Hojat al-Islam Ali Anjum Shoaa, presented an article entitled: “Hazrat Abu Talib in prayer and Ziarat”.

Considering approximation between Islamic denominations as the goal of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani stated, “In the conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), you should tell the Sunni brothers that holding this conference is for the proximity of Islamic schools of thought, and this is a great work.”
