The opening ceremony of the international conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), the Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h), began.

Programs of the five committees of the International Conference of “Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)” announced.

The opening ceremony of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), the Supporter of the Prophet (p.b.u.h), started, Tuesday morning, March 9, 2021, in the Quds Hall of Imam Khomeini Complex in Qom and the message of Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi was read.

“The issue of Hazrat Abu Talib’s faith is clear. But distortion, forgery, jealousy, malice, and enmity went hand in hand to cover up and ignore this historical fact,” stated the chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the faith of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.).

“Abu Talib (a.s.) supported the Prophet before and after the Be’that, and his support for the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and Islam is inseparable,” stated Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri.

“Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) knew the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) from his childhood. He was with the Prophet (p.b.u.h) until the last days of his life. Insight is evident in the words and poems of Abu Talib,” said Matuq, a Kuwaiti member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“The Hazrat Abu Talib’s resistance was multi-dimensional, and all these dimensions can be instructive for the Axis of Resistance in the present time,” Ayatollah Ka’bi said.

“Abu Talib accepted anonymity, hid his faith and did his duty, and therefore remained in history,” said Hojat al-Islam Taeb.

“If Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) was not with the Prophet (p.b.u.h), the Mushrekin (polytheists) would not have allowed the Prophet (p.b.u.h) to call to Islam and it was even possible that they would have killed him,” stated the Deputy Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement.

“Due to their hatred and enmity towards Imam Ali (a.s.), some historians said that Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) was a Kafir (infidel) and Mushrik (polytheist), while Abu Sufyan and Hind bint Utbah were Muslims at the time of their death! These historians are the enemies of Imam Ali (a.s.), and the lover of Muawiyah, and Abu Sufyan,” stated the dean of the Islamic seminary of the Aeme At’har (a.s.).
