The closing ceremony of the first “World Prize 114” was held on evening of Monday, August 9, 2021 in face-to face and virtually in full compliance with health protocols due to Covid-19 in the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom. In this ceremony, 14 selected persons and works were appreciated in the category of the Quranic institutes and centers, as well as Quranic preachers and activists. The late Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri and Ayatollah Mohammad Saeed Al-No’mani were also honored for their services in Tafsir and promoting the Holy Quran. The call for the first “World Prize 114” was announced by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly during the holy month of Ramadan last year (1442 AH – 2021 AD). The competition dedicated to praise the best missionaries, works and Quranic activities of Shiites around the world.
