According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: Sheikh Saleh Ahmed Lazari, a prominent Shiite scholar of the South and West African countries, went to Iraq for pilgrimage of the holy shrines and participation in the Arbaeen Great Walk.
His plans in Iraq will be the pilgrimage of the holy shrines, meeting with Iraqi ulama and religious figures, participation in gatherings of African clerics in Iraq, and participation in the Arbaeen Great Walk.
Sheikh Saleh Ahmed Lazari, one of the prominent ulama and missionaries of Africa, is from the city of Niamey, the capital of Niger. He has a special reputation among people all over the continent, especially the West and South African nations.
