Coordination Council Meeting on Resistance Martyrs Anniversary, Najaf

Commemoration Ceremony in Qom Marks 1st Anniversary of Resistance Axis Commanders’ Martyrdom
The first anniversary of the martyrdom of Resistance Axis commanders, including Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayed Hashem Safieddine, was commemorated in Qom with the presence of scholars, seminary and university figures, international institutions, families of martyrs, and people from different walks of life at the Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Hall of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatemeh Masoumeh (a.s.).
Commemoration Ceremony for Martyrs Nasrallah and Safieddine to Be Held in Qom
On the anniversary of the martyrdom of the pioneers of the Resistance Axis and prominent Shiite scholars of the Islamic world, Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, a commemoration ceremony will be held in Qom with the participation of Grand Ayatollahs, academic and seminary figures, international institutions, families of martyrs, and various groups of the wilaii people of Qom.

The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly further emphasized, “Compassionate Islam and resistance are two sides of the same coin. But some have only taken one side! Resistance is defined under divine mercy and without it, mercy cannot spread in Islamic society.”

The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “So far, Shiite and Sunni leaders have been martyred in the way of resistance and confronting the Zionist regime. Basically, in the field of resistance, Shiite and Sunni are not the issue. Some are seeking to create sedition in this regard, but when we study the resistance from a sociological perspective, we realize that Shiite and Sunni are not relevant in this regard.”

The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Imam Musa Sadr is quoted as saying that in the past, Shiites always had ordinary and low-ranking jobs in Lebanese society. Martyr Nasrallah brought honor and respect to Shiism and the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school in Lebanon and all over the world.”
