According to the AhlulBayt World Assembly News Portal: A seminar in honor of the late Hojat al-Islam Qazi Sayed Niaz Naqavi, former head of the office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Pakistan, member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and vice-president of the Wefaq al-Madares Shia schools, was held at the Al-Montazer Seminary in Lahore, Pakistan. The seminar was attended by the brothers of the deceased, Allameh Sayed Hafez Riyad Naqvi and Hojat al-Islam Sayed Murid Naqvi.

The professor of the seminary of Qom stated, “Hojat al-Islam Sayed Niaz Naqvi was one of the pioneers of unity and approximation between Islamic denominations, and among Pakistani Sunni and Shiite scholars, he was considered a justified and accepted figure. He had valuable degrees of knowledge and virtue, and throughout his blessed life, he moved in the straight path.”
