According to the Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly News Portal – a ceremony marking the first anniversary of the martyrdom of prominent resistance fighters, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, was held on Thursday, 2nd Oct. 2025, at Imam Kazem (a.s) Seminary in Qom. The event featured speeches by Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Iranian Parliament Speaker, and Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, member of the Assembly of Experts and the Expediency Discernment Council.

The first anniversary of the martyrdom of Resistance Axis commanders, including Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayed Hashem Safieddine, was commemorated in Qom with the presence of scholars, seminary and university figures, international institutions, families of martyrs, and people from different walks of life at the Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Hall of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatemeh Masoumeh (a.s.).

On the anniversary of the martyrdom of the pioneers of the Resistance Axis and prominent Shiite scholars of the Islamic world, Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, a commemoration ceremony will be held in Qom with the participation of Grand Ayatollahs, academic and seminary figures, international institutions, families of martyrs, and various groups of the wilaii people of Qom.
We must explain Resistance theory from religious point of view: Ayatollah Ramazani
Referring to the importance of explaining the Resistance, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “We need to explain the theory of Resistance from a religious point of view. Resistance is a matter of Fitrah and reason. Aggressors, invaders, domineers, and the arrogant must be resisted. The language of talking to them is not negotiation but resistance.”
Resistance brings honor to Islam: Ayatollah Ramazani
The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Martyr Sayed Hashem Safieddine was a graduate of the school of the two Imams of the Islamic Revolution. This martyr believed in the Wilayat-e Faqih in its true sense of the word. He considered himself a soldier of the school of Wilayat and was influenced by the Supreme Leader of the Revolution.”
